Hunting from the couch again. Coffee in hand dog curled up to my left my girls next to me on the right. Hurt my back pretty bad yesterday but I made a promise to hit the woods this evening with my oldest. Gotta stay true to my words so I’ll hit up the live from the woods thread later. For me it’s in the stand and ready 30 min before sunrise. If I hunt my one stand that 3/4 of a mile walk I start walking an hour before sunrise. That’s mostly for bow season. Gun season after opening weekend I’m much more relaxed on when I start Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hate throwing food out. I’ll figure out one way or another how to repurpose it into another meal. I know people that refuse to eat leftovers and waste so much food and money it’s a shame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Venison stew meat sautéed mushrooms and garlic cloves with some rice and green beans. Gonna throw it in some beef stock and have a soup/stew. This is what I like to refer to as a left overs dinner. Just trying to use things up before they go bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I do not use an alarm but have a wireless outdoor thermometer inside the freezer with the display in the kitchen where I always see it. The freezer is in the basement and same thing there are days at a time that I don't even go downstairs.

No doubt tapatalk made it a lot better but I don't find it that bad to use the mobile web version of the website. its a bit slower and the pictures always come out sideways but that's all the difference I notice. I just bookmarked the website and saved the password so I don't have to log in every time.

There was a new Tapatalk update and a new iOS software update yesterday. I did both and unfortunately neither solved the issue.

I’ve moved onto the lawn chairs in the driveway watching the venison roasts in the smoker with a beer in hand. Sometimes life if so difficult

Back on the couch and not the stand. Today’s another family day. Was suppose to hunt the morning then go pumpkin picking with some friends in the afternoon but the weather had us switch the pumpkins picking to the morning instead.

I feel ya there. I’ve had spine and hip problems since I was 20. Currently in pain because my hip decided I’ve been to healthy for too long. Been at least 3 weeks now. -
Up in the stand for the first time since opening day. 56 degrees zero wind. Just gonna hunt the morning then head off to a birthday party. Good luck everyone.

Been mowing at least once a week all summer. Just mowed part of the lawn on Tuesday and will have to finish the rest of the lawn this weekend. I'm hoping this will be it but I doubt it.
