  1. Well, I guess I've got to go check the camera. It's scheduled to send a test pic every midnight, and I didn't get one last night. I'm going to guess it's probably junk, if I even find it.
  2. Hopefully my camera isn't chewed up.
  3. Holy crap Ryan. It definitely looks different from when I picked up Dom's deer. I figured you would need a drainage ditch to divert some of that water. Glad it's helping. Been seeing some very good prospects for a shoulder mount. Think you've done 3-4 for my nephew's and a few for some good friends of mine. Think it's about time you do one for me, lol.
  4. I have no clue what you're talking about.
  5. If it that steep where getting a ATV out is going to be hairy, the last piece of equipment I'd try to get in there is a mini excavator. I've got many hours behind the controls of minis. Controlled sliding down a hill and pulling yourself back up is not recommended for someone that doesn't have experience.
  6. My upright is probably 10 yrs old. Garage is insulated, but not heated. Water will easily freeze. I've have freezer alarms and the freezer temps consistently stays around 0°.
  7. Went out yesterday to check some stands. Seen several bucks. Couple were holding on to their velvet.
  8. In Most of Michigan it's illegal to bait deer. Only legal in certain areas of the UP.
  9. I'd vote yes. I'd also vote yes to baiting. I see no difference in making a food plot, hunting over a apple tree, or a pile of corn. Guy on the next property has feeders out in several places. I've talked to DEC and nothing has happened. Making baiting legal would allow me to play the same game.
  10. I agree. That's why I said it's meaning on a week long guided hunt is different than hunting the same farm or properties the entire season.
  11. Either one should be available in most areas. My cousin has direct TV in his bar/butcher shop. Aside from the guide and channel numbers being different from dish network, I think they are fairly equal.
  12. I have dish network. Direct TV is a different provider.
  13. Been with dish network for over 20 yrs. Never had them triple the price. Yes they have gone up a few times, but no huge jumps.
  14. I think it's a great quote if you're on a guided trip or if you only hunt public land, it might come into play more so than if you're hunting the same private parcels the entire season.
  15. Never forget. Been watching the local news. One 6 sec reminder, then onto bashing trump for several minutes. What a shame.
  16. I did on the hot sausage ones. Like to try some with blu cheese, but not sure what to mix with it.
  17. I read that this morning. This state doesn't give a crap about the shooting sports, or our history when guns were involved. The queen has made it clear she will do everything and anything possible to get every gun removed from the hands of law abiding citizens.
  18. Glad you liked them. Fun part is now tweeting the recipe to suit your taste. Sausage stuffer might work, but then you have to clean that. I wear rubber gloves and use a little flour to keep them from sticking so bad. I made some the other day with hot sausage and added diced jalapenos. Not too bad, but I think if I added the right rub to the outside, they might have been a little better.
  19. Boggles my mind that my area isn't included in this early hunt. I counted over 125 deer the other evening by driving by fields that were no more than a 6 min drive from my house. 30+ of the deer were in two field only a few hundred yards apart on the farm I hunt.
  20. Good luck to those that are out. Looking forward to some pics. Going out later to set some cams out. Re- activated my 4 cell cams yesterday and been debating on what areas to set them in.
