i struggle with this as well. Had the eye surgery 20+ years ago and it was great. But now i do need glasses to drive and for distance. I like to wear them while hunting, but with the bow i often get double pins in certain light. I pick the brightest set. lol . It sure sucks though at times. It hasnt happened yet when shooting a deer but most times i am practicing without my glasses for this reason .

Do both. Check them and see if anything on them right then . If nothing you can move them to another location and still have some Intel time before hand on another area . Or if they have a lot of pics keep them there and reload some new cards in them. Plus I think you are dying to see what's on them! Lol If you don't mind the drive and have the time, go for it.

bucks from 2020 that i am hoping made it to this year! couple of duplicates in there but hoping at least some of them made it thru to this season. i already know "Big Sixy" made it but havent gotten any pics of the others yet. Next card pull will be the weekend before season. Bucks seem to mostly show up here only during season anyway.

this was a bust ! not one single plant took. But they were also on a swamp edge and with all the rain, not surprised. Will try some next year in a different spot.

after cleaning and before season i always fire a primer to clean out - had that happen to me too.

Great buck. Is that a regular licking branch/scrape right there? Looks like the perfect spot.

So far from my trail cams numbers here seem the same as most every year. Maybe a few more fawns than last season.

This year the river should have a good flow with all the rain. As soon as it cools a.bit they will start running hard. End of Sept should def be busy there.

Back put on the lake after over a month due to flooding and working on hunting land. Good day out. We didn't kill them but got a few. Lost a few and some shorts. Corey was catching shorts two at a time.

What did you end up with for arrows?

Out on the lake with Corey. I had a limit by 9:30 and lost 3. Corey caught like 6 eyes sometimes 2 at a time but all shorts. But a good day on the water. Corey took the fish home and cooked them right up for lunch.

@Lomax. Any salmon running up yet? Looks like a fun day anyway.

Absolutely. How'd did you narrow it down to those two? Lol That was why I kinda figured we should wait til the regular bow seasons. Not as many are gonna be out with only a few dmu's open and that it's does only and so early. Chef and Wolc will have to pick each other.
