Lol. Yeah just a bit. That doesn't sound like a honey do list. It sounds like vacation plans. But awesome your gonna get out and do all that with the family. Good plans all of them.

This year is the worst I have ever seen. I'm a trout fisherman from way back and been in some bugs but this is just ridiculous bad. Was mowing the lawn Tonite and just hundreds of them would come out of the grass as I mowed.

I'm def behind in some bow shooting practice. Changed out peep and biscuit and it needed some tweaking after. But honestly the skeeters have been so bad it's tough to shoot. I don't shoot a lot before season usually anyway but feel like I am behind what I should be. But also thinking the skeeters are so bad here that the early season is gonna be about impossible to sit still anyway til we see a frost.

It's a Friday so 4 lunch shots today! First two at 40, next 2 at 30. Plan on doing this couple of times a week til season.

Hey Airedale was it VVS? If so thank you! As a kid I used to look so forward to this every year. My Dad and I always went. It was great . Wasn't really hunting shows back then and this was a sure look into hunting in far away places.

I was driving a bus filling in for staff and my phone was going nuts. Couldn't answer it of course esp since I was actually crossing RR tracks when the phone started ringing. But was almost back and knew something must be wrong. Got to the office and another director was back in my office watching the TV. Then shortly after the second plane hit. Knew it was an attack then. Something that stuck out to me other than the tragedy of course, was that after watching the news all day, went out with a beer about 11 on the deck. Could see every star in the sky and it hit me not to see a single plane in the sky. My wife worked for Bank of NY in Oriskany and she was called into work as the NY main office was right next to the towers. And part of one of the buildings ended up falling on it.

Yeah but it kills both so hopefully not. Maybe just a better food source they are after right now.

You can't just require the shot and afford to lose anymore people that refuse to get it. Terrible staffing issues already. No they never said it- exactly. If testing is required it's going to get more in demand and someone will have to pay for it. I always hope everyone gets the shot but this mandate will def put a twist into things. Lots of jobs out there that pay as much or more than many of our positions where you don't have to be vaccinated, wear a mask, or be tested. Start loading all that onto already difficult to fill positions just makes it a larger concern.

Our company has over 500 people so we will fall into that. Everyone was expecting it from NYS though. And many Depts are already terribly short staffed. And weekly tests that the company is responsible for is also going to be another expense to bear over the PPE etc.

That doesnt make sense now. lol i cant keep track, one minute your living in Conn, then your not, then your getting doe permits for WNY but you dont shoot does, then your hunting at your Dads or brothers or some stateland that Crappie has claimed ..... you're a diverse person Biz.

I dont need a rest its just easier - like the xbow. I also use it for regular bow but still have to pick it up and draw it, xbow i dont. Even without a rail its a point and shoot. let me know when you try your rifle wiht 6-10#'s of pressure and open sights if its harder or easier.... Just your words alone prove my point- i need to have a kisser button, pins, peep and an anchor point. Seems easy as a scope? and yes i have still hunted with one. No more difficult than carrying a rifle and on ground level i dont have to draw it is a huge advantage with less movement. We will just have to disagree on this one. Dont see it at all. I cant even count the number of threads about crossbow hunters having issues with dialing in the xbow as compared to compound bow hunters- oh wait its the opposite...lol I guess if bow is easier for you then stick with it my man. Saves you having to buy more equipment.

i like to go to 3D shoots and stand behind a group and say "if i had my crossbow I could 10 ring all of these" and just walk away and let the arguements ensue.
