  1. @Steuben Jerry @Swamp_bucks @Arcade Hunter @BowmanMike @Biz-R-OWorld @crappyice @The_Real_TCIII @Lomax @doebuck1234 @Otto @Chef @sbuff @Fletch @grampy @Nomad Anyone is welcome ! Calling you guys out.....c'mon we need a few.
  2. Oh and by the way. When I typed this up it looks good on the computer but if viewing on phone need to turn phone lengthwise and the score sheets make more sense.
  3. Awesome!!! Just making sure we have enough to run it.
  4. Tried to think of something everyone could be in and that I could actually keep track of. Lol Plus thought it would be fun for people to pick folks on this forum. Pretty simple really. Every Sunday pick a Hunter for the week. Or even pick ahead of that but taking a risk they fill their tags too soon.
  5. Excellent. You out of town, the rut, Thanksgiving....lots going on, don't trip at the finish line!
  6. Okay , anybody in for this? Thought it might be fun. Just checking to see if we will have folks in?
  7. Last week of October and first two weeks of nov I have 3 -4 day weekends. Then took the whole week of Thanksgiving off. So from Oct 23-nov I never work more than 3 days without hunting.
  8. well after a whole year obviously it hasnt been addressed. May want to bring it up before year end at the next board meeting as outstanding.
  9. so what your saying is Sodfather still owes you a breakfast!
  10. Corey is off and out cutting trails. Lucky SOB! New cutter is kicking ass! I will be on it this weekend. He got almost the whole place done in one afternoon.
  11. i need to get this of my chest.....i am concerned over your November trout...
  12. you got some amazing bucks there. Esp for 2 year olds. They look like tiger woods at 3 hitting a golf ball kinda talent. Hell im excited about this guy in my spot. Zoom in - hes got horns! lol
  13. i thought for sure the 7F or 7J areas would be on the early list. I have a spot in 7J that would be perfect for an early doe. But they werent included. Which is odd to me because every year they dont give out their allotment of doe permits and can always get two more on nov 1 that are leftover. 7J has more doe permits avail than any other and only has a 10% success rate. Wonder why they didnt include it?
  14. worse i have ever seen them this year. Cant even hardly stand it in the yard in daylight. We need a good frost!
  15. was a little afraid to look..... lol Awesome looks great . Dropping both bucks out of it this year!
  16. Our spot is weird. You can't find a rock there. Lol. I mean like not one . Not even a little stone. It used to be farmland and it all grew in but it's on the edge of swamp and mucklands. When we tilled with the tow behind atv plow we never even kicked up a pebble. But def will still be on the lookout thanks. Most of the area we are doing are well established trails for years. But in glad it has break away blades in case.
  17. Lol. I wouldn't dare. Important business going on there. Good luck.
  18. Guy that let's us hunt there is a great fella and he works so much . He will cut it with his tractor like once a year. We are gonna be able to help him out now. And help out our hunting. Been wanting to get one for a couple years now. So I just bit the bullet and bought one. We widened some trail areas this spring with the chainsaw and it grows back in quick .
  19. Corey put together the cutter today. He's gonna try it tomorrow. Can't wait to check it out. This should keep our trails in much better shape!
  20. I also have a walk behind wheeled weedeater. It's fine for grass but if it gets too high it's a lot of work and broken strings. I will keep my eyes out for a walk behind. Guy we hunt on his land is always selling stuff for people. We cut all the grass in the area for food plots with the wheeled weedeater and it worked fine but anything too much and it won't go thru. Grass was prob 8" high.
  21. his favorite animal now is that X3!!!!
  22. i do 100 yards and i can never get over how accurate mine is. I would certainly feel comfortable out to 150.
  23. i looked at them and thought they were still gonna be a lot of bear work mving them around. Just had an ATV tow behind delivered that is being put together for use as we speak. I looked and was able to find a lot of those available used though on Marketplace and seemed like a lot of good reviews on them elsewhere.
