  1. I say same deer, go get those sheds!
  2. Welcome in. The tug is a great place for being in the outdoors. Hope you like snow cause that's the bullseye for lake effect. Lots of good fishing up there too.
  3. Get a govt grant, then go public, drive up the price thru Robin hood, short sell it and then walk away and claim a loss. The American dream.
  4. I really like the camo dips. Need to find someone around here that does it when making a euro. It came out nice Red And now you need to get that boat for some fish mounts next to those bucks!
  5. Does do this pretty often . I've seen them a few times on their hinds throwing hands. Good timing to get pic. Cool
  6. Tacks Feb trout fishing https://v16-web.tiktok.com/video/tos/useast2a/tos-useast2a-ve-0068c004/453c1a1627554b3e8f907ecf2d628e0d/?a=1988&br=5956&bt=2978&cd=0|0|1&ch=0&cr=0&cs=0&cv=1&dr=0&ds=3&er=&expire=1614194478&l=202102241321000101901851303F02099B&lr=tiktok_m&mime_type=video_mp4&pl=0&policy=2&qs=0&rc=amo0ZXMzZmxpMzMzOTczM0ApZDNnNTdoZztoNzs0Ozc3O2c1aTBqNl9uLWdgLS0wMTZzc2MwYTQ2YWNhYzA0Ml81Xl86Yw%3D%3D&signature=878b0a494a826a12c0e5109812d1e7f2&tk=tt_webid_v2&vl=&vr=
  7. I havent but those would be cool to plant, really just starting to do some food plots in this spot this year. My other spot I always hunted had a lot of farmer Ag already but this spot def needs some food to keep the deer there. I cant really do a lot of plots or clear too much just can use what is already cleared, so thinking of some mixes. Gonna give it a go and see if it works. A lot of the areas are also used some as horse riding trails in the summer so cant really fill them in too much.
  8. Only had some cheddar and it needed provolone. But it was def good. Usually to this omelette I like to add in some italian spice mix too.
  9. my plan to retire is 5-10 years. Depends on where healthcare goes as Fletch mentioned, thats a big one. But 10 at the most and prob 6 at the least if a couple of things bounce the right way. I always look at retirement through the eyes of the fact my Dad passed one month before he was planning to retire. So i will as soon as I can even if it means i need to be a bit frugal. I lead a simple life anyway so not much is needed to get by on. Bill $ and boat gas. Hell i will fish off shore if I have to!
  10. Congrats Jerry!!! Im glad to hear you are doing this. Time to enjoy the things you want to and not the things you have to! If you can pull it off financially go for it. And if you picking between Oct and Dec - Oct 1 is opening day of bow season......just sayin.
  11. Got a buddy that lives in Owego. Took him a week to unbury from that big storm.
  12. Took a nice hike myself yesterday and really enjoyed it . But the prob was that's the first day in about 60 it was nice enough to go. If the weather was like yesterday for all of winter it wouldn't nearly be as bad.
  13. I hate winter more and more every year. My folks retired and moved to Florida and then moved back after 6 years. Too hot in the summer and can't go outside but sit on the AC, reverse of winter here. My brother retired and bought a house in Adams. Yes Adams...on the tug. lol. I guess if I was retired I wouldn't be as bothered by winter as I wouldn't have to go out and fight it. Have thought about moving mid south but I really love it here spring thru fall. Great fishing living on one of the best walleye lakes in the country and a private hunting spot is hard to give up and try to match or start over. But I wouldn't miss being here in January and February one bit if I could do that. When you can't even take the dog for a walk it so cold out makes you wonder wth am I doing here.
  14. The pose goes perfect with that monster too. Even all together with those mounts his pose says he is the top dog. Nice work
  15. Lol. He was just on ABC news doing circles looking for the right spot 2 minutes ago. He said masks thru December and maybe into 2022.
  16. new map for hunting spot and stands for 2021. Getting cabin fever! Looking forward to cutting some brush as soon as the snow melts down a bit. Have to put up one of these stands and the groundblind but all our spots are picked out.
  17. I've caught some nice trout out of the red and sumner rivers up there. A few out of some ponds as well.
  18. Is there a stop light yet in Hamilton co? Not kidding there wasn't one last I knew. Used to spend a lot of time up there.
  19. Beautiful for a winter day. Got out for a good hike thru Verona beach state park. Lots of folks out on the ice fishing. Hard to see in pics but Lewis point looks packed. Charlie was sleeping 10 minutes after we got back. Nice to be outside.
  20. 22 cars you say...Mario sees you ......lol Looks like a great time and had a little action. Awesome.
  21. Where the heck was that? Did you go south during the cold snap to ice fish Tennessee?
  22. They all know that. The discussion was about having a late muzzle season. We all know it's not part of the plan. You need to read the rest of the posts. It was just a discussion on why there isn't a late muzzle season in northern.
  23. What an amazing buck. Doesn't seem like the same species I hunt. Incredible
