Their is a bill introduced as of April 1, 2013 for the elimination of wearing back tags in NY. Bill # A6466-2013 AND S90-2013 which was refered to Environmental Conservation at that time. Not sure where the bill is right now.
Their won't be the damage, one would expect pigs to do. Not like southern states are experiencing. Their spread over many square miles and the small numbers don't support the damage u see in southern states with much higher concentration. I remember members, on this site that have seen and shot pigs in NY. Their is no question, their here.
I question whether banning hog hunting preserves in NY will be effective however, as it seems to be to little to late.
Good year for fruit here, so far. No hail damage. ( Don't want to speak to loud, LOL) Maybe apple prices will be a little more affordable this year. Peach prices are always high, maybe because the trees are more difficult to take care of.
NYS produces some of the best tasting fruit in the world!
FYI: It's raining here,.......... again.
I've noticed with my 6 year old Summit climber ( believe it's a Viper ), the foot platform is noisy if it isn't firmly planted squarely into the tree. Kinda like a twisting and flexing of the platform. The seat assembly firmly digs into the tree with body weight, and have never given any problems. Climbers are noisey, attaching to the tree, plus going up the tree. The form idea could just remove some of that hollow tubing noise.
I have several trailcam pics, last year of the same condition with flies. I see if I can locate.
Doe s ribs are showing. You need some foodplot feed Doc.
This is one reason why I usually, install my cameras 10 feet up. Deer look up, on occasion, but don't seem to bother much. One thing, this clip doesn't show.
What about the bacteria on the inside of the meat?
I'd slice it real thin, mix it with little corns, pea pod, green pepper, onion, rice, and make stir fry out of it.
Did u work the seedbed the fall before? Try a germination test on the seed? Plant a cover crop to protect the young seedlings?
I have frost seeded Mammoth and common red clover for 40+ years and have never had a failure. I like to put on frozen ground, as u tend t get a more even stand.
