    So, are bow hunters still allowed in the field during Youth firearms weekend? That would be Oct. 6,7, and 8th.

    A big thanks to all those who pushed for the October 1st opener. This is a big step for New York in the right direction. Maybe worth a thank you email to those responsible. Mr Maziarz is getting one from me.

    So, the youth hunt is the hold up. They don't want to break up the archery season.

    Wonder if the holdup is still over the Columbus Day weekend youth firearm season. Seem to be a lot of discussion over that topic, more than any other.

    Those plots look really good.

    Yeah, he's 3 this year, got to agree. Tough to call them the same though. Up here, would give'm another year. Have seen many deer like that one that blow into a giant. One more year can really make all the difference, if he stays in the area.

    Maybe kind of depends what brand of clover it is. I grow a few acres of red clover for hay. Always wait for heads to form and blossom, before cutting.

    Buckwheat always seems to be a favorite with deer. Also great for cleaning up ground that has laid fallow for several years. Use to grow it years back for pancake flour.

    He looks in great physical condition. That protein he's standing in, is sure helping out with that.. Might be tough to decide to pass on, come season. Seeing deer of this caliber, makes the wait, all the more tougher. Thanks for post.

    Some things just feel right. Like baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet. That's where my True-Fire buckle release comes in. Going on 8 years old. Just feels right.

    Just got a gulley washer. The heavy rain, and severe lightning.Man did it come down. Winds blew good too.

    Don't know what all the fuss is about. Momma said I could have another twinkie right after I finish the last shot of volka. lol Still wound up from the Eddie Money concert.

    Just got back. Man the place WAS PACKED AND JUST ROCKED. Eddie still packs them in. It was awesome.

    Their free. Going on every Friday night, Ulrich Center. Local bands start at 5. Tonight is Eddie Money, 8 pm.. Gona be hot.

    Just got in from the field. Out from 11 am- 330pm. Felt like it was 150. The wind came up about 2:30 and gave a little relief.

    Yes, would also like to see pics. How hard is it do? I'd like to do the lower side panels of a car. Maybe a tractor.

    Already 90 at 11 am.. Hot and humid, talk like mid 90's today. Maybe the hottest day of the year.

    One would think that 3 cubs for that area is rare to see. Cochectons economy might pick up, come bear season, lol.

    You have some hungry deer. That always happen to me every year plant soybeans. Three acres too. In a few nights, they chomp them to stems.Good protein. Never knew they like hemp. Well look at it this way, think of the antler growth.
