  1. Well we listed property less than 2 weeks ago and we have a cash offer . We plan on signing purchase agreement Monday. Guess I should have started higher.. lol
  2. Maybe a leak in the old rusted gutters ? Looks like I can see a hole or drip? Above the one stain.
  3. https://www.nyoutdoorrealty.com/property/105-acres-st-lawrence-county-hunting-land-de-kalb-ny/ The Realtor listing....
  4. That's why it looks like there are a couple underage helpers. Keeping the beer costs down..lol
  5. Remember, The whole angus fad is mostly marketing. The main difference you will find in beef is the way the cattle are finished. Finding a farmer who grass feeds but still puts the grain to them at the end will make good beef.
  6. We got our elk tags for muzzleloader in Colorado.. based on my research I had picked out a couple places so far to hunt... They are burning since Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing how that effects things..
  7. Price was right when we bought it. We figured it would be cheap hunting land or a good flip.Friend and I bought it together. We both have too many pokers in the fire and don't have time to put in plots or cabin like we had 1st planned. Maybe if it's still there this fall e we will build a cabin.. We figured if it sold we would look for another piece a little larger or on some some water or finance our hunting trips, or....
  8. Not yet. We just listed it last week with a realtor.
  9. I'm sure you are correct if one got a lawyer.. If not, it seems to stick.
  10. Not true that you cannot be charged. I have 1st hand experience on this.. (none of our lands are posted but people have been ticketed.lol) I think often that people are not charged the 1st time. Depending upon the situation a case could be made that one was unaware that they were trespassing the 1st time.
  11. Most air filled life forms seem to be females ,ime.. Lol
  12. Some nice deer there ! I would consider quitting my job for a season if I saw them on my trail cams..lol.
  13. I just returned from an auction. Lots of guns, and mounts from all over the world. The bidders #s went to around 200 and I saw 2 masks in the whole place.. It was nice to see.
  14. ..lol. Yeap . I have seen waterlines under driveways freeze @ 5'
  15. Splain Lucy? Ha.ha. What did you do after rolling it over? I'm curious about the process.
  16. It may be ? I have only caught them May through maybe the 1st weekend of June. May be a difference there too ? They have all been channel cats too.
  17. Depending on the size of the fish, you have to leave 1/8" of flesh/fat on the skin when you fillet them. Afterwards cut the brown stripe that runs the length of the fillet completely out.
  18. Ha.ha.ha. that's what we thought for years. Tasted terrible! They were so fun to catch we were determined to find a good recipe. We canned , smoked , brined, marinated in milk, grilled, etc... nothing was good unless you liked that pure fishy taste... Finally an old time showed us how to clean them. They are great ! Especially cubed up , breaded and deep fried.. yummy morsels..
  19. We did a fair amount of catfishing in the spring. Usually starting a couple weeks ago through the 1st few weeks of June. Our favorite go to spots were below dams. I always got a kick out of a newby. They wouldn't take you seriously when you tell them to not leave their pole unattended. When they bite your pole just heads for the water. Lol We never weighed them but caught many 30"-36" Have you mastered the proper cleaning technique?
  20. I dislike snakes. But that is neat that they are constrictors.
  21. Any logger that removes treetops for "free" is not being honest. There is value in the tops whether it is for firewood or chips.. If you don't want the tops in the woods for the wildlife and want a nice clean looking woods I would be sure to hire a logger that has a chipper and sells chips. It seems like many of the loggers do these days.
  22. They are a nifty fish. I've caught a few 3-4'ers while fishing for catfish..they feel like 180 grit sandpaper..
