Help needed with picture ID

This picture was taken by one of my trail cameras in upstate NY. I can't identify the animal and was hoping for some help. Let me know what you think it is, and why. Thanks in advance.

on second thought, it looks like a mountain lion.......pretty sure I can see the tail.

look at the tail,  its clearly a mtn lion............

ok after further examination i have come to the conclusion the the creature you seek to identify is a rare flying terradactal skeeteropatimus, although poisinous they are rarely seen by people and they only eat the infamous yetti, So i have determined that if you set a trap for the yetti you will be able to with out question be able to capture it, I heard they taste like chicken, but not regular chicken but like the kind you buy at walmart, just sayin, hope it helps.

seriously. I see the tail so I wanna say mountain lion but I also see what someone else pointed out about the front leg and how it's jointed. Maybe a horse?
