After all the snow melt from the rain my kids are gonna be able to ice skate in my driveway..the weather is weird so far today its been snow and rain mix...I don't want -20s I hate ice especially when my driveway is 300ft long makes for a fun ride lol

Mine is 900' uphill.  I had a good 3-4" snow pack on it from the snow last week.  Last night's rain turned it to a sheet of ice.  I slid the whole way down it at 4am on my way to work today.  I just got done spreading every last bit of cinders I had in my bucket on it.  Hopefully I don't need more until I can build up another stock pile.  I use my coal ashes on it, they're really gritty and don't soak up moisture.

45v here this morning when I got up now 12 and down to zero tonight with 20-30 mph west winds.  I will take it over the 4 feet of snow predicted for tug hill by wednesday.

Weather service out of Buffalo just issued Blizzard Warnings for Erie ,Wyoming,and Genesee Counties.
