landtracdeerhunter
Hope bands are included. Trans Siberian Orchestra. Orinoco Flow by Celtic Women. Locally, the SUNY College Band off Millersport Hwy is awesome. Theirs just something about an orchestra and live marching bands that always get me. Doc
Josh Turner is a favorite of the modern generation of country singers. But I still like the older people of country and bluegrass. But probably my all-time favorite album is by The Trio, first version, with Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. I also have every album that the Everly Brothers ever made. probably the best technical singers and song writers of my time. Frankly there is some classical instrumental stuff that I like listening to when in the right mood, And I have some Dave Brubeck and Al Hirt albums. Mannheim Steamroller is another that I have a large collection of. I also have a very huge collection of late 50's and early 60's music (music of my teens). About the only thing that I absolutely can't stand is something that really isn't music at all ..... that would be Rap or as I call it, "chanting". And I never did warm up to acid rock, in fact that is what drove me away from rock and into country music. Can't handle that squealing, ear splitting, guitar noise.

Lawdwaz
Another favorite.." He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones... Without a doubt, one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. I honestly get shivers when I hear it. If you ever had a love that REALLY stood out in your life, you'll understand. Somebody hang a Youtube of it, please.

Elmo
I listen to pretty much anything and everything except metal and country. Favorites will be: Jay-Z Eminem Wu-Tang Clan Erasure 10,000 Maniacs DIdo Sarah McLaughlin Ne-Yo Toni Braxton Leona Lewis Norah Jones The Cure Don Omar Prince Royce Zacarias Ferreira But if there is to be one and only one. It would have to be Sarah Brightman. The one person I would pay top dollar to see whenever she's in town. Sarah Brightman - "Time To Say Goodbye" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUf2XjqQQjY Sarah Brightman - "Nessun Dorma" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAERU_0KuJY&list=PLDY3Ca98sG0d2Z1rcPmuXF2CkKoLZxoUm Edited January 13, 2014 by Elmo

BUCKANDAQUARTER
I'd like to add Moody Blues, Bruce Springsteen, Roger Miller, etc... This kind of goes along with both movies and music, and is worth checking out if you like classic rock "The Last Waltz" directed by Martin Scorcese. It's "The Band's" last concert on film loosely turned into a documentary. There are a lot of great artists on there, and is one heck of a show. ELMER J. FUDD
Lately it's been The Jezabels. I just needed something different. Part of my own stress reduction therapy. I don't necessarily like a song because of the sound. Sometimes it's the message or both.
