The batter, mix is tied up in ( clootie ) a piece of cloth, then boiled for 4 hours, it gets a real nice skin on it, I like it fried in butter in a pan. I still don't know what's a Cootie Dumpling and now I'm just as curious as to what is a Scottish Fortune Cookie is.
