MY success this year! 2 buck and a doe

Well i ended up having a great season this year. it started late for me with a 7 point with the bow in Nov. and a big mature doe on opening day gun and also a nice 8 point 2 days after that opener. with plenty of meat in the freezer and i would like to get out maybe 2 more times for bow on the island and try to stick a wall mount or something i can donate! we shall see... here are some pics...

yes, also if you take a doe on the island and bring the DEC the head or the deer they age it and inspect it and will issue you another either or on the spot. so you can get another buck if you choose or as many does as your heart desires... almost like and earn a buck situation....

yup... this is only on the island tho, to the best of my knowledge i dont think that is practiced anywhere else in NY. correct me if i am wrong. for instance if i go into this season with a either or and a dmp for 1c and i fill my either or with a buck i can use my dmp to take a doe and take the doe to the ridge DEC and have them inspect and collect their data and they will issue me another either or. but if i fill that either or with a buck thats it, i can not get another....

possibly,  but I know they do that with the farmers nuisance permits.  I didn't know they also do that with the 1C DMP's

I just read, the DEC issue's BONUS DMP's for certain areas.  1C being one of them,  3S is another.

show them a doe, get another tag.

well i have off from the 24th to the 2nd i believe so maybe i will try to get out a few. i would like to get out a day soon! lol
