No , he wrote it in 2018 for Clint Eastwood and the movie The Mule

Your right but I didn't find that out until later. He must have had it in mind when he realized his last days were approaching. Still sad.... Cancer has taken the lives of way too many and it isn't pleasant watching someone go through it.
