I am not the overly religious of sort, but it does boggle my mind that the true meaning of Christmas is not even known to so many people out there these days.  To them it's just a jolly holiday that you are supposed to spend money and buy gifts for others, and that's ALL they know about it.  Unbelievable really.  

 

well this article was about gifts not what we are doing on the holidays, so I don't think you were taking a jab at me but regardless we go to mass most sundays and certainly on christmas.

All I want for Christmas is for someone to tell me where a person could buy 35 remington ammo....we have a friend that asks me to stop in this gun place and that when I'm out and about to ask if they carry it...several months and dozen or so places from the lake to NY/pa border and nada one...did find more 243 100gr though...Wish they'd sell the weapon already and stop asking...lol

A new rifle in 7mm-08 would be nice. But I'll most likely get a under armor sweatshirt. 

As long as we are all happy,healthy and together,that is the best present one could ask for.

My wife and I spend Christmas eve at my son and d.i.l. house and are there when my grandsons open their presents. Seeing Christmas through the eyes of kids,it just does not get any better than that!

HOCKEY...They called...35 Whelan...35 Remington is different...Thanks though...looks like they are going out of state to find them...out west I think....

Growie...I'm still not sure which you want.. Is it .35 Whelen or .35 Rem ?

I could keep my eyes peeled for either...

The .35 Whelen is considerably more powerful than the .35 rem...Also harder to find, because there are not many factory rifles chambered for it.
