No complaints here, just an observation. You seem a bit testy lately, perhaps a bit of cabin fever for you?

First-light
If I have cabin fever at my home on L.I. why am I headed to my cabin upstate this weekend??? Oxymoron
Two Track
First-light LocationFinger lakes region Posted Today, 01:22 PM If I have cabin fever at my home on L.I. why am I headed to my cabin upstate this weekend??? Oxymoron My guess would be to escape the sappy love bird crowds at the local Restaurants and the single depressives at the local bars. Plus away from any fumes from the city that may drift to the east. Fresh clean air on a long weekend, with the main squeeze away from everyone else at a cabin sounds like a nice reprieve from daily life.

New York Hillbilly
In the 30's (at least) and sunny today when I went out to run errands during lunchtime. Alaska is a balmy place. : ) And the days are getting longer very quickly!
growalot
I don't have cabin fever...for I'm out everyday ....shoveling!....I can handle the snow and yesterday was a day of "spring" for it was a warm 34 degrees and I actually saw sun most of the day! Now we just got a burst of 2 more inches...and the ambient temps will be falling to -4 thru -7+ this weekend with wind chills as low as -30???? This is what I just have a hard time handling...you know hitting that air and your nose hairs freeze...eyes sting...air hits your lungs with a thump type of weather. I remember getting a few days a season of subzero weather....not several days a week, a couple of times a month! Merlot
Now where did I put those road maps to Florida?
wdswtr
The Florida deal cracks me up. I have many a family member move to Florida from being "sick and tired of the cold". Now what do they do, call and whine about how hot it is there. I just laugh and tell them you can take the whiner out of NY but you cant take the whiner out of the whiner. That is usually when they hang up on me.
greg54
Would have been great weekend for the Olcott, NY beach Polar Bear plunge, that would certainly cure cabin fever...a jump into Lake Ontario!!

RangerClay
It's so damn cold. I'm on vacation next week and it's too cold for ice fishing with the kids.
grampy
Down on the local lake tomorrow they have the outlaw motorcycle and quad races. And on Sunday the AMEC car races. Will have to bundle up and trundle down to watch and hang out with some buddies. Don't see a problem keeping the beer cold!
