WNY Bowhunter
I'm so pumped up for turkey season that I can hardly stand it!!! Just wondering what calls everyone uses to bring home the birds? I am a huge fan of crystal pot calls. My current go to call is my Twisted Sister crystal made by NY callmaker David Halloran. This call has proved deadly over the past three seasons, luring 10 gobblers in to the gun. I just added David's new Metal Mouth call to the line up too...it sounds AWESOME!!! I hope to break it in in KY in three weeks... Edited March 27, 2015 by WNY Bowhunter
growalot
My voice always....but to make multiple sounds(pitch /tone) I use a slate and glass pot with several different strikers
rotorooter23
My favorite is the Prom Queen mouth call by Beard Bustin Game calls right out of Sidney Ny. Produces the best range of sounds for me as I have tried so many to get the sound that I like. Have had great success with this call. wooly
My favorite is my Primos Box Cutter. It's one of the few calls I run with enough confidence to know I truly sound like a hen turkey. I'm able to adjust my tone, volume, and range on it in a way I haven't been able to on many other calls without sounding unrealistic, so that's the main reason it's usually the first and last call I reach for.
stabe710
David Halloran's pot calls are the best Turkey calls I have every heard/used. I have the double glass and have used the twisted sister and they are both top notch calls. The pitch is dead on and they carry through the woods like a loud box call. I highly recommend them to any serious turkey hunter.

Yotehntr
I started using calls by Keystone Calls 2 years ago and they sound fantastic! Made in NY and the diaphragm call "Sexy" is my go to along with my slate made by them.
ants
My favorite, by far, are mouth calls. I like lite, higher pitched sounding calls. I just picked up a couple of "Turkey Thug" mouth calls. One is "Young hen" the other is called "Double Plus" Both sound great!! I have heard a lot more young, higher pitched sounding hens than I have heard "Raspy old hens" …What self respecting Tom wants a Raspy old hen over a young hen anyway ??? 2012_taco
I have too many to mention but I almost always carry my butternut boat paddle by Quaker Boy, M L Lynch box call, Blodgent crystal over walnut pot call, a slate pot call, and several mouth calls. By half way through the season i start to carry less calls as i try to lighten up the load to run and gun. Man I can not wait to get out.... Lawdwaz
For many years my favorite and most successful call was my Quaker Boy Old Boss Hen diaphragm. Not so much anymore though..........I've bounced around and will just reach into my vest and pull one out and see how it sounds. If it is OK, that's the flavor of the day. If not I just dig in a little deeper. One that keeps popping up is a Kits Call, I think. It is a yellow and I've been using it for a few years. Although Kits has been a defunct company for a number of years I had a few of their best stashed away.
G-Man
Just scratching the leaves... love it when a bird sounds off and runs in to check out the hen feeding...
hunter49
Use mostly Quaker boy mouth calls. Dick Kirby himself taught me & my brother how to call sitting in his barber shop when he first started making calls many yrs. ago. I also use one of the first Lynch box calls ever made. But have tried many others thru the yrs.
WhitetailAddict11
Although I prefer diaphragms, my Primos box cutter has called in more Tom's than I can count. Whether I have killed them or I haven't for one reason or another, it's the one call that never seems to fail me. I did pick up a Matt Van Vise custom diaphragm last year though and this thing is pure wild hen!
