I've had the cameras out all June and managed to get some decent pics. There wasn't a lot of buck action, but I'll take what I got. Switched out the cards today so we'll see what the next few weeks bring us.

So how do you suppose a deer would get a split ear? I can see how it would happen on a buck, but it seems that it would be very odd on a doe.

Doe's will scratch themselves with their pointy hooves and slice their ears up Doc.

Summer bugs are rough on any deers ears if you take a minute to notice the annoying infestations and how deer are constantly twitching and flapping those blood rich fly magnets.

Any water around? That's always worth getting a cam up on in July and August. Creek crossings, or slow moving creeks/ponds/puddles for drinking.

Just happened to move a camera on a water source yesterday. Its a slow moving creek that I have stands at various postions on.
