My son 1st shark trip

My son went fishing last week with my 2 brothers and 2 family friends. They went out of Freeport LI and south about 30 miles.

 

Son caught the tuna 45# and brother ( orange shirt) caught mako 187# little over 6' long

 

They also caught a few blue sharks which they released saw some whales and turtles. My son said it was like national geographic without havining to watch TV

My brother has his own boat and is a licensed captain
