That sounds about right for those 2 looking at your pictures. I am hoping next weekend I can throw up a couple game cam pictures of some nice deer. My cameras will be up for almost a month before I get to pull the cards. Hoping with all this soaking time I can get a picture of a nice one.

Good luck, i think that 8 is a good 1 1/2 yr. Old, i have shot a few just like that years ago and they were 1 1/2.  At 2 1/2 you would expect to have more width and tine length. Go get him!!!!

Hope your right, but also have seen my dad shoot 8s like him rack wise locally (3N) that the DEC at the butcher says are 3.5. But they had bigger bodies. I think 2.5, appears to be noticeably different from 1.5s

I wish he was eating clover but it grew only to get eaten all down. Lots of acorns though in this spot. More in this flat area than anywhere else on the 80 acres.

Embraced to say I have no idea. I don't know acorns. There are big ones and small ones. Green, white, and brown. Idk what's what

Rounded oak leaves are white with longer akerns as they call them in the south.

Next time I'm there I'll take pics of the acorns and the trees. Definitely different types of acorns are falling because some of big some are small. Some are brown some are green or whitish
