Patterning a few guns today. And I got to wondering what's everyone else use so let's see them guys. First pic is of my old war club a remi 870 20ga with a trijicon rmr that's been a lot of miles and has many scars to prove it. That's what I'll be carrying to kill my first bird of the year as she's old and reliable. The Cammo mossberg 500 was my grandfathers and I think I'll carry that for #2 on the year. Next up is a 870 tactical and on top is a winchester 1300 nwtf. What's everyone else carrying this year?

Like you, I also have a Winchester 1300 NWTF Edition from many years ago. I had some barrel work done to it by Pro-port, a sister company to Mag-Na-Port. Had the forcing cone lengthened, along with having the barrel ported. This work seems to have improved the overall patterning of the gun. Not so much the porting, but the forcing cone work did.

I only got one UGLY reliable turkey gun and you inspired me to waste a shot this morning on some of my finest art work, lol

Now I remember why I'm happy to only shoot this thing once or twice a year!

God damn that hurts!

25 yds and all is well with me for this season.

Wooly, is that a single shot 10 gauge?

Nope, that would be a New England Firearms, full choked, single shot 12ga that still gives a good thumping with 3"ers.

I need to get back to icing my shoulder now before it bruises....

This is my setup for what you can see.. its a Mossberg 535.. 22" barrel tipped with factory xxturkey choke. patterns 4's 5's and 6's unbelievable out to 65 yards.  i prefer 4's. this will be my backup or 2nd bird gun. My dad was killed in March this spring, so im taking his old trusty 3" Mossberg 500 out first, it has a hunters specialty undertaker .660"?? super full choke

This bird tipped over at 64 steps.. never flapped a wing. The only shot i had without taking him AND his buddy in the same shot..

Both slam birds like the hammer of thor,Either gun shoots magblends good but they shoot longbeards a touch better.

I will be using the coveted Crosman M417 to nail them birds! Why deal with recoil from a roman candle from a 12ga when you can use an air gun?

J/K people.

Nah-you don't want to use that pea-shooter! You want to use THIS "pea-shooter" air shotgun. 20 gauge, over 1200fps, with 3/4 oz. loads. Took this bird years ago (not in NY though).       post-1247-0-03147900-1461205809.jpg

I also like the look's of this gun. The Mossberg 930 Turkey gun. New for 2016.

Price wise, much more reasonable than some of the other brands out there. And from the reports I have been reading on other forums, holds up very nicely!!
