The same?

The color photo is this year year is wrong date is correct, the ir pic is last year after season.. do you think they are same buck?

I will say they are two different bucks based on 2 things.

1) The top photo shows a long brow tine on his right side. 2) The bottom photo shows what appears to be a sticker on the G-3 of his right side.

I'm gonna say different but they sure do look alike.  May be brothers.  The right sides look different to me.

Looks like the same buck to me too.

The left antler is almost an exact match and that's all I need to see. Not just looking at the tines here but also the shape of the space between them on both sides.

The dark spot on his left ear seems to jive in both shots as well.

Upon further review.  The play on the field has been overturned.

Not really any additional growth or mass from last yr if its the same, but maybe is growth all went to the split g3 on his right side. Gosh not sure.

At first i said different, but im saying same deer now. Doesnt seem to have grown a ton, but the frame and sticker, the ear and crab claw all seem to be about the same as year before but somewhat bigger this year..

I too think same deer, the ear is a dead give away. it would be hard for 2 deer to have the same markings on the body in the same spot. Surprised he hasn't grown a little more maybe he is a little wider this year than last. The length of tines seems to be about the same.

I'm almost 100% sure it's the same, we had bad hard and soft mast year last year although it was mild winter. That food makes a difference...

Oh I get it the pics are from different years of antler growth...  I would say they are probably the same deer then.

I missed that part too! My bad. I would say they are most likely the same deer.
