Water level was fair, little high but not bad. Color was pretty stained about a foot visibility.

Anybody hear or know when the bullhead start running up at Wilson? I want to give it a try this year, it has been a long time since I caught them. I do remember they tasted pretty good. But that was years ago.

Looks pretty high man, in those conditions its tough for sure. Only thing I'd tel ya is if you give it a shot, upsize.

Some wise fishermen say that high water is the best time to fish. Theres a lot of food in the water and the big fish feel safe moving out of their hides. Be careful if you do go in there though

The Northeast is funny.  I ice fished yesterday, and would have today if it hadn't rained so hard.  8-9" of ice.  There must have been 40 guys out there.  We're thinking it will last one more week.  

Nice looking browns.  Those colors are spectacular.

Nope...Got a  funeral viewing mid day and a euchre tournament in the afternoon....

Perhaps Monday or Tuesday the tribs I like to fish may be down to a fishable level...

I think I better hang around here.  I have lots to do around here and of course the high water (and probably rising) has me spooked.  I thank you very much and can't believe my not-so-subtle hint was spotted.
