growalot
When we first got married Mr B had a 1965 ford bronco...It was sweet.. though back then may not have been considered a classic, we were married in 1979...lol. We would still have it, but as he talked to me on the phone,I worked evenings back then in a salon he yells OMG it's on fire! and hung up...He happened to look out the window and there it was going up in flames in the drive way. He had shoved and antenna in the glove box which in turn poked through to hit a wire harness...Just got it back from having total body work and paint done on it ...poof!!..Good thing we lived behind a fire dept...Wish I had the money to buy him another one..bright red with a white cap. helmut in the bush
In 76 I bought a 69 Firebird, 400 4brl 4sp. Had the suspention and body done in the 90's and its been under a cover ever since. I'm just not a wrenching type of person, and sometimes life gets in the way of things like that. It would be cool to go to a class reunion in it

philoshop
I had a 1972 El Camino that would scratch the tires when punched at 65 mph. Not a 'classic' yet in 1977. Trapping money during high school. 350 small block with a Rochester Quadrajet carb, and a case case of long-neck Rolling Rock in the back. Life was good. ;-]

Though I really like this one... And my neighbor just built this ....
Buckmaster7600
I have a 86 Nissan 300z and a 68 CHEVY 4x4. The 300z is a twin turbo and runs but is still in pieces and the truck is a long ways from being on the road but has a modern 6.0gm motor that will have a turbo. Both of these projects were started when I was in high school. I keep telling my daughter that she can take the truck to her prom so I better get working on it.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pygmy
I get to ride in a couple of vintage automobiles now and then....One of my friends on whose land I hunt often has a beautifully restored 1936 Ford Coupe...We take that to the Legion a few days per year when the weather is nice.. Another good fishing friend has a '67 Chevelle 396 that he bought new back in the day..When we ride in that it is hard to carry on a conversation due to the engine noise... The first vehicle I drove on a regular basis was my Dad's 1953 F 100 pickup....I took and passed my driver's test in that truck... The first car I actually bought and owned myself was a 1957 Ford Fairlane with a 292 V8.... My second was a 1957 Dodge Coronet....Great car...360 , 4 barrel carb, air conditioning and a back seat as big as a couch..Just what a 19 year old needed in 1969.... Cost me $300.....
