I'm def no expert like phade but Ibe had decent luck with Bushnell so I haven't tried others. I will say I know someone who has a cell cam and last fall basically got this buck two days in a row at the same time via his cell phone, 3rd day he setup and the buck came thru like clock work and sealed the deal, it's almost cheating.

I have a few 2017 Browning Dark Ops Elite 940 left - my rep inadvertently sent me 13 extra cams. I'm selling them on a fire sale to help her out. PM if you want one - sending the unsold ones back tomorrow evening.

Unless you want to spend big money on something like Reconyx, brownings seem to be the best bet as far as I've seen the last few years.

Here's a couple pics to show the quality pics you'll get from the browning strike forces.

The tree line behind this buck is almost 100 yards away and it still gets some light way out there. I like cams with good lighting all the way across the picture rather than a tunnel beam of light that misses the edges of pics.

These next two pics are a great example of a good detection range on a camera. Look hard and you'll see two deer pretty far out in the field. I'm impressed these cams pick up movement that far out on a regular basis.

I use cheap Stealth cams and they work great. I use the 3 shot burst mode, so 1 of the 3 usually gets the head clear enough to count points.

I'm with you on the Stealth Cams. I grab the P-12's online for like $40 each and they work great! I just scored a 2 pack online for $76 with free shipping. Now that's a deal that can't be beat!

The stealth cams are great cams. I picked up a set of 3 and card reader from sports men's guide last fall for about 200. The cams have been out since October 19th I get 300 to 400 pics weekly on each cam. They still have first set of batteries in them. Battery still reads full power. The reader works great but man does that thing use  batteries. I have put 5 sets in it since I started seeing it.

I use a thing call Apple Lightning Jack. Put SD card into jack and then plug into my iphone, upload and then delete everything off the card. Then the card is clean and goes back in. Then when I get home I sort through all the pics on the iphone which is nice because you can zoom with clarity, etc.

That's close to 12,000 pics, that must go from full to zero battery  pretty quick .

Anyone looking for a browning hit Phade up.

I'd love to test a reconyx cam but I'm not hanging that much money on a tree.
