Checking my cameras this coming weekend... Can't wait.. hoping the bucks have shown up... 2 weeks ago I got all the blinds set up, all the stands checked, secured and shooting lanes cut... just waiting for the season to get here... can't wait!!! Anyone else all set??? figure 6 weeks before opener was good to be done with....

We still have a day or two of work left, but getting closer.  Nice job Grizz.  Always nice to know you are ready.

Put up last ground blind 20 yards from a apple tree, put up a camera  watching said tree. Just waiting for the apples to turn and start dropping so hopefully I will get some good pictures. Then oct 1st I hope to put my son in the blind so he can shoot his first deer..

Stands are in, 1 more trip in to cut lanes and we'll be ready for the season.

Same here. I gotta go in 1 time soon and practice shooting from actual ground blind. Other than that, I know where I'm sitting 10/1 and hoping a nice one walks by at 18yds.

I'm on the same pace as you guys. All my planting is done. Hung two ladder stands and two climbers. Need two more stands to go up then I should be all set.

I'm a ways away need to still hang 1 more stand and start shooting from it. Then minor trimming. Last year the first week was to early but this year acorns are falling already

Main ground blind is almost complete. The three main shooting lanes following the three trails that merge just 26 yards from from my seat.

I can't wait either. I do have some work to do on the private land up north. Got out there a few weeks ago and when they logged it all but two of my brush blinds are gone, so have to rebuild a few when I am up there opening weekend for the NZ. Not optimal, but at least they will be ready for the gun opener.
