Found this set on Feb 7.   Last pic is with one I found today to put 8pt set in perspective.

Walked two properties and a little over 4 miles this afternoon. Picked up two good left sides and a small chewed up spike. Knew one buck well and had lots of pictures. Never seen the big 8 before but

I found a spike that was maybe 3 inches long, so small I have no idea what ever happened to it.


My only NY shed ever was last year after I kept seeing CrappyIce finding sheds I was determined to find one and I did. It was a tiny broken spike.

Hmm never found one just whole deer skeleton one time .

But then again never specifically looked for sheds

Some good ones here!  Not mine, buddy found them.  Long Island sheds.  Check out the brow tines!
Size estimates?  I  figures around high 150's to low 160's.

Found the same group today and no headgear to be found...last week there were two 6-8 pointers and a few spikes mixed in. They either dropped or the boys went back in the closet!!!

Have no fear...this patch is small enough (as you know!)that these dummies just run in circles when I show up!!!smart enough to stay away from the parkway on one side and the houses on the other side!
