Red squirrels are still open and are yearlong.

looking forward to this sight!  from the wheel of the boat headed out onto Oneida on a nice day!  Only went once for small game this year at all.

Just a public service reminder 

Try and take out any invasive species on dec  list  when you can ,They harm native species .

The few unprotected species include porcupine, red squirrel, woodchuck, English sparrow, starling, rock pigeon, and monk parakeet. Unprotected species may be taken at any time without limit. A hunting license is required to hunt unprotected wildlife with a bow, crossbow, or firearm.

3 reasons I hunt them 1 taste great 2 time in the woods 3 I trade/sell them to Mepps.I get some great lures and also a check every year.From this season they will send me around 500.00 plus lures.win win in my book.

Last count was 285 not sure of exact cut them off and toss in a box of salt.Not all were hunted some are road kills.

Not good conditions for the woods walk.  Snow crunchy today  made a lot of Racket walking didn't see anything .Felt like I was walking on broken glass
