That wood is the hardest and most dense wood I’ve ever seen. I think it would be hell trying to turn that wood. But you’re welcome to try. I have plenty.

I see sunshine.   None here and it's 41°.  Much bigger fire pit needed to keep warm.

Built my fire pit last weekend in the backyard. I've had 4 good fires in it so far. Here's tonight's.

And shame on me for not taking a pic of tonight's fire.

Was a early night.  Kinda wiped out with MIL in hospital, but doing great.  Typing this as I'm fighting my eyelids.

I can see chickens turning over that fire...slowly on a rotisserie...…plus you can put your feet up on the blocks, sipping a beverage. nice Stonehenge look.

Sitting by the fire, enjoying the sunset and listening to a turkey gobble across the road on neighbors property that I can't hunt.  Lol.  IMG_20200503_203506406.thumb.jpg.b043daaeb60d27dcb618881c25dc0671.jpg

I am headed out to light our's up right now.   First of the season.   The Alexa and a couple tiki-torches are in place.  I recently made a new fire-pit out of an old air compressor tank that my father in law gave me.   A Kolsch tasted pretty good out on the lake today, a few more should be good by the fire.
