You are killing me with this post...I started looking for some pictures I know I have of my Britt on the training table and stumbled across these instead:

I guess I’ll keep looking and reliving my process with Trico

Cute pup, she's keeping an eye on you at all times.

Tips,

Patience, It's a puppy, let it be a puppy.

Gun shyness. This is one of the most overlooked aspects in a pups training.

Gradually get it used to loud noises and the report of a firearm in close proximity.

You can do this by slowly bringing it to the range, when you go to practice your wing shooting.

A dog will hunt better when it knows you can do your part by killing what it finds, so it can retrieve it.

It's a team sport, you need to train too.

I look forward to reading about your pups introduction to the world.

Your part and others’.

A went out with a friend’s Griff in the fall and within 20 minutes she brought us four downed birds that someone else couldn’t find. We hit our limit without firing a shot.

Cute puppy.

Originally I was going to name her hazel, but my parents convinced me to name her Nala (like from lion king)

Agree. Almost 12 and still strong as hell. Unfortunately, once they hit 12, the decline can be quick... I hope I’m wrong about this one.

Awesome you got two.

This is my 2nd GSP.

Thinking about getting another one soon. Gonna be my 1st female GSP.

Figure my boy Zorro would really enjoy a new addition to the family and hopefully give him a shot in the arm (leg) & maybe get another year or two.

Man, GSPs are such a special breed.

We have a 1.5 and 2.5 year old. Hands down one of the best breeds I’ve ever owned. Definitely a Velcro dog, they never leave your side. Wife loves them so much she got us on a list for a 3rd pup and sent out deposit

Hey Steve. I was showing my girlfriend pics of your recently. She had one growing up and wanted to know where you got yours from. I’m thinking it may be time to add another pup to the clan.
