First euro

Went pretty smooth with my 11/7 buck. Until I went to walmart today looking for salon 40 or what ever to whiten the skull. No luck but there is a salon in the wally so I asked there. Woman there said I wasn't licensed so I couldn't buy it? Is she right? Seems I can get it online.

Might just be there policy just call a salon somewhere else and you can probably buy it.

Thanks! Boiling picking and pressure washing after skinning. Wasn't THAT bad.

When I do a euro, I buy all the supplies at the local Sally beauty supply. Funny when I go in there to get the stuff, they know exactly what I'm going to do with it! Guess I'm not their normal/usual looking customer!

I have done the same thing....worked with a lady who cut hair on the side and sent me to the beauty supply store with her discount card....the girls laughed when I showed them the list of things my co worker told me to get.

I tried my hand at doing my own euro last year. What a mess. Between the mess and the time involved, I'll gladly outsource the job next time.

I just make a paste with baking soda and peroxide (regular brown bottle crap from pharmacy) and let that sit a few days....comes good...Not gleaming white but binding care for that “brightness” anyways

The guy I have dip mine, paints them first so they don't yellow.

i had my bow buck sent for a Euro locally. Havent done one before.  Was gonna send out to grampys place but gonna try this local place and the GF got me a nice plaque a couple years ago  that i plan on mounting it too.  

Thought about doing a dip myself but with the plaque just going to do that.  Although since I got it on Halloween a black and orange would seem appropriate.  lol

I finished my euro and put him up on the garage wall with the rest. I definitely like the look of the skull with that 40% peroxide treatment.  Much cleaner than just boiling them. I've also started leaving the tag on them as I can't remember the details anymore and it at least tells me the year, weapon,  and town of the kill.

Thats my xbow buck from last year 11-11. I have trail cam pic of him on 10-31 with all 4 points still there on his left side!
