I agree with you on antlers. Visual tooth aging is obvious for fawn vs 1.5 vs 2.5 but after 2.5 it’s only like 60% accurate. Deer age slices them and it’s over 90% on white tails. I’ll start a thread soon when i get my dad’s results. I know Jerkman and Lawdz used them last year too

Do you need a tooth from the lower jaw ?  I saved the whole thing from one I killed a few years ago (it is hanging from the busted up 8 point middle on right).  I also weighed that one on a certified butchers scale (182 pounds), and measured the chest girth (42”).     I guessed his age at 3.5 but maybe I will send in a tooth to confirm.

Yes the bottom 2 front incisors. Check out their website. You create an account and order and they send you a kit in the mail. Easy instructions you put tooth in a ziplock bag and mail back.

11/23: I didn't hunt, but Dad went dark to dark in 3N but no deer seen.

I was hoping to bowhunt 3S for 2nd buck Monday and then switched to tomorrow, but now my daughter has the cold my wife had so not sure when I'll get back out. Can't catch a break. We'll be missing TG again for 2nd year in a row and i'm dying to hunt.

The little ones getting sick is a vicious right of passage as a parent. I can't count how many times we delayed holidays for being sick and then when they hit daycare it's all downhill. They get viruses you have never heard of.

The time is off by 1 hour. So 549am. My dad must have pushed this buck through this morning. He passed the cam right after it. New target buck on cam for him.

11/26: dad didn’t hunt. Nor did I.

But My Dad’s buck aged 4.5 from Deerage.com. And I measured today at 95” gross. I’ll start a Deerage thread for other members to post their results as well.

11/28: Dad hunted dark to dark in 3N. No deer seen but he saw a nice big yote at 230 but couldn’t get shot. Good news is a new shooter has arrived this morning before sunrise

Also 11/28: I hunted the morning till 10am in 3S. Saw a 6pt at 710am under 10yds. When he got to 21 yards I drew back back quartering but felt he was the 1.5 6pt I passed a few weeks so I let him go again.

Then at 810am I blind bleated and a spike came in sooner after doing big circles. I passed him at 25yds and took video (screenshot attached).

Cam Had small bucks and the crab 10pt (maybe broken) and the big 7pt I seen a few times last I hunted in person. I’d love to Shoot him. Also some
Turkeys and a bunch of black birds?

On my way home about 1.5 miles away i saw this nice 8pt on the side of the road

Agreed, you can see the coloring in the head on a few of them and I've seen them in large flocks before. Either way that's an awesome picture.

11/30: Dad hunted 3N dark to dark. He saw 1 deer this morning early but couldn’t see head. The one cam he checked had a 4pt and 8pt this morning and my cell cam had does overnight and then 2 more at 430pm about 200yds from Him that he didn’t see before dark.

12/2: I bow hunted private 3S this morning and saw one deer at 636am, but too dark with rain and fog to see a rack or not at 50yds with binocs. In the PM, I bow hunted 3S stateland and saw a bunch of sign, 6 treestands and 1 doe at 310pm. I won’t be back out till maybe Tuesday or Wednesday

Dad gun hunted 3N dark to dark and no deer seen but got another pics of the 8pt

My daughter had my buck for her first venison taste the other night. She didn't love it as much as those little lamb lollipop chops, but still did well eating it.

12/7: I hunted 3S before work. Only saw 1 deer running full speed about 150+ yards away at 720am. Spike & Doe on cam.

Dad has a torn meniscus in knee and hasn't hunted since 12/2, but hopefully he will return to the woods soon!

I can start hunting his land again for a buck on Monday, so I’m pumped for that as well as go back to my brother’s. Maybe I’ll even try carrying his ML one day. I’ve never held one.

Supposedly Hank might return to woods tomorrow! They told him Monday he was done for the year. That lasted 2 days lol

Weather won’t be an issue. All next week and through Xmas looks like mid 50’s. Even the lows are only 30’s.
