Camera was moved around the tree and the cable end of the python lock was chewed. Camera was ok . Repositioned camera and its working. Have no clue what caused  the white picture unless he covered it so completely that it went into night mode.

Overexposed image. Black absorbs light so cam thought it was dark as you noted.

You may want to do something more than reset. I hear a lot of “stories” on bear attacks on cams, and when they don’t get it the first time, they do come back for a second shot. Surprisingly very common in those situations according to customers.

Can you high mount the cam and angle down?

I could try to move it up next time up on the property but bears do  climb. I get a bear every other day on the plot.  I'm going to order a bear box for it . I'm looking to get another reveal or 2 but sold out every  place I look .

This guy has taken  up residence  in front of my camera for the last 3 nights. I think he is 3 years old .

I've been watching this guy this year and have posted pics of him showing his rack growth. His rack keeps growing beautifully and I sure hope to see him in the Fall.    valoroutdoors.com

My neighbors are calling him a shooter .... would love to let him get another year or two. My BIL says we should let him grow and I agree . Neighbors will kill him for sure .  Problems of hunting on postage stamp properties.

That middle deer is a five point. Unique rack. He is a deer we know from last year. Hangs around in October but bails as the month wears on.

Stealth cam I got in a 3 pack many years ago. Picture is a little blurry but impressed With the trigger speed by these no thrills camera.
