Why I hunt .......

From Pygmy. He's a hell of a nice guy. Me, Doe, Elmer, Culver and Elmo along with Pygmy recently met up for a few beers and he showed us some pictures of his past hunts. I scanned that one because it was really cool. You give Pygmy a couple of beers and he'd give you the shirt off his back. Below is a picture I took at the get together. He let us throw him around the room for a while. That was Elmer giving him a good toss!

Think about ...while you were at work someone snuck into your living room and stood one of those up inthe corner. Would you notice it when you got home...lol I know some folks it might take a few weeks but most would nail it right away. Non hunters think this game is so easy

I'm naming one "Blinky" and the other "Droopy Lip". The conversation they were having was actually pretty good and it was promoting trapping in a positive way.

I spotted this bachelor group munching in a bean field on my way home last evening. I stopped and snapped a quick pic.

I'm not sure if using the same AOL as the pointed bullet for a round nose is a good idea. The ogive of the round nose may be forward of the ogive of of the flex tip. If you load the RN too far out, you could jam it into the rifling and create a pressure spike. I would either use the AOL of another similar 200 grain round nose( like a factory load) or smoke a bullet and chamber it in an empty case to determine max seating depth. Several reloading manuals will tell you how to do this or you can find it online. If you really want to match the accuracy of the Leverevolution loads, your best bet would be to "bite the bullet" and spend the $$ for the Leverevolution bullets. Eliminate as many variables as you can.

There are only 3 out here and they never make it past opening day. Long Island has them all. THe main focus of hunters should be down there.

I work hard on my camp, but i don't consider it HARD work... I enjoy doing it because I don't have any pressure to get it done yesterday... I can do it at my leisure... Like you said.. It's fun.. and very satisfying.

Nice looking camp. Ours is considerably smaller and a bit more stripped down .... lol. But it is the better part of a mile from the house and pretty desolate.

I love the simplicity of camp... our camp is tucked in the woods... no electricity or running water... Coleman stove for cooking... candles and coleman lantern for lights... and an outhouse.. I wouldn't have it any other way and believe it or not my wife wouldn't either...which is great for me.. because when momma's happy... everyone is happy!!
