Ok, so Adolf Cuomo is hosting a fishing tournament on Owasco Lake on 8/23. My wife's uncle, Sam Phillips, is the guy who went up to Cuomo at the State Fair last year with the "Cuomo's Gotta Go" shirt. We're taking the pontoon boat out and cruising up and down the lake that day with "Cuomo's Gotta Go" and "Repeal unSAFE Act Now" signs. Any and all are welcome to join us. Just have your fishing licenses and some trolling rods in the water....no bodies business how one "decorates" their boat nor what style of legal "fishing" they do.....nice long slow line of fisherman trolling the waters...

Every time I hear people ranting like lunatics about the NRA, it highlights just how terrified they are of the effectiveness of that organization.

Sometimes I think that too, but you know, then I think about the direction this state keeps creeping and obviously it is tipping further and further in the other direction all the time. I have two young sons now and I'm still young enough that I can move them somewhere where they'll have more opportunity for a better future now before it's too late. I don't mean too late like the razor wire is going up around the border, I mean before they get too entrenched with school and friends and such. Why shouldn't I pack up my family and move to a place where most of the people share our values? You get tired of losing all the damn time. I'm ok with winning some and losing some but being a conservative in NYS you begin to understand how Sisyphus felt.

With the amount of police activity up here thanks to a locals drug induced family problem...I prefer not to advertise to every trooper and every sheriff detective we may have guns...

A month and a half ago I mentioned to John G. at the Buffalo Gun Center the fact that not every gun owner wants a sign on their front lawn advertising that they are most probably a gun owner. Bad guys might just stop and take a peak so why doesn't SCOPE have billboards in and around the more populated cities? Donations are rolling in and they'd be put to good use that way. Looks like somebody else was thinking the same way........................................................good deal.

Votes cast only on an anti-incumbent basis punish those who voted against the SAFE ACT equally with those who voted for it, sending a very badly confused message on future gun control issues and votes. If legislators get no benefits from being in our corner, I have no doubt that they will head for the side that does reward their loyalty. Focus people! keep that anti-SAFE ACT passion working for us.

Damn the luck........I just choked down the last of it! I took a Rubbermaid container of it up to Bob (he works nights at the corner of Main & Kensington) last night. It would have been just right for you............ He's a good guy but has no family, lives alone and I'd think doesn't eat great. Others drop off meals to him also so once in a while I'll run up with some grub. He seems to really appreciate it and is still alive...................................

@Grow Just north of buffalo is district 62 represented by George Maziarz who voted against it , the link i posted above shows how Grisanti sold out for money to private interests . EDIT : I just realized what grow was referring to when referencing buffalo ,I was still stuck on the safe act votes.

Harvey has been a part of some the most violent films produced and sounds like a nut job. Movies like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and one on Ww2 just for example, I think the veiwers of his anti NRA movie should see those movies first and decide if he has a firm grasp on reality. (He doesn't)

New York city and Albany run the state. I'm neither Dem or Republican, I like some of what both sides offer and hate some of what both sides offer. We need a new party in this country called the common sense party!

Did someone actually "shove" that sign in their kids face??? I think it was meant more as a joke, with some truth in it.

Whether the sign is true or not, a parent will win very LITTLE respect shoving a sign like that into a teenagers face. Maybe if you treat the teenager like a young adult, they might act like one. Treat them like a know-nothing, and you will have problems.

Thank Cuomo and Silver? Are you kidding me? They both will do anything possible to take our guns and 2nd ammendment rights. I will not thank them for anything. There is surely some agenda behind King Cuomo's endorement of this FUAC
