Actually LF , Im not moving the goal post. Im exposing the goal post for what it is. That owning firearms is very beneficial and stops a lot of crimes and violence. But you never hear the Pro side on those news outlets. Well maybe except the ONE thats described. Why cant these same news outlets show the statistical data that disproves the " Ban All Guns " and " We Need Gun Control ! " crowd ? What you do get a steady pounding of is how some scumbag gang banger , thief , rapist, looter etc somehow gets twisted in the media to be labeled as the victim when he gets shot . And God forbid if he was black. Then those same stations pound that story down everyones throats as some kind of racist event. Then they want to really open the can of worms and demand gun control on everybody , ban everything , defund the police , bla bla bla. There is so much more to be said about tons of other events , but out of respect for you Im done with this thread. Moving over to the better parts of life like the hunting and fishing threads. And the FOOD ! And the drooling " Whats For Dinner " threads ! LOL See you over in the saner part of the forum.

They must have swallowed their anti gun pride to post those articles. Probably cried in the back room afterwards. LOL Here are the ones that count that you never hear about. The 500 thousand to 3 million times a year that armed people either stopped robberies , rapes , muggings , domestic violence attacks , and self defense. Im sure a few of those were also stopping a mass murder of some kind. There are many articles on how many times armed citizens saved the day. I read an FBI or a DOJ article a while back that had just the self defense number at over 500,000 times. I also read an article some time ago disputing these numbers from a descending liberal point of view why all firearms should be banned. I do remember their statistical number though . They claimed that firearms were used ONLY 187,000 times on average per year stopping all the above situations. Imagine that ! We should ban ALL firearms because they were only used 187,000 times per year to stop a violent act . You both bring up great points. I always wondered why the Penn herd did so well. But are we talking about the same elk or was there a browsing elk subspecies ( presumed now gone ) and a grazing elk ? I would of thought they are the same animal that adapted from grazing to browsing just like a whitetail adapts to the environment it is in. The only thing that changes is the enzymes in its stomach to digest the different foods available with the changing seasons .

BINGO ! That is the BEST bore cleaner on the market in my opinion . I clean every single gun with the Berchwood Casy 2-1 Bore Cleaner . That will take that rust right off no problem. Does the best job I have seen taking out lead , copper , and both nitro and black powder fouling . Just let it sit for 10 min and then use the bore brush . A friend of mine were cleaning our guns after sighting in. He was using Hoppes and I was using B-C 2-1 . He said his barrel looked spotless . I talked him into letting me clean his gun again after he was done. The B-C made it look like he never cleaned it there was so much fouling on the patch. Now the B-C is all he uses.

The problem the Demorats have though is even if they pass these sham bills , they are unconstitutional infringing on the peoples civil rights . The Supreme Court decisions is what sets precedence when it comes to constitutional law. Not the sham congress bills they might pass . All laws that violate the constitution are challenged at the Supreme Court. Thats what the Supreme Court is for . Checks and balances . They are the ultimate decision . I dont trust Roberts , but he is only one Judge . There are 5 other conservatives on the court. As far as trying to pack the court to pass all their bullshit laws ,the last poll count I saw was that 78 percent of the people were against it. If they try to do that then 2022 will be the ultimate landslide that throws the Demorats out in both houses and a landslide for the Presidency in 2024. Even the moderate Democrats dont want to see that. Going back to passing these gun control laws , I dont think they can get past the Senate if the filibuster where the dems need 60 votes to pass the bill . Thats what happened to the gun control bills when Obama was president and had the majority on both houses.

Whatever CRAP is in any one of these bills now or coming up , I can see that the Supreme Court is going to be a very busy place at least for the next 2 years.

My question to you is " Are you lying to the FBI on the NICS form if you answer NO to question 21 section E when you have a " state " permit to smoke pot recreationally or medically ? Yes you are lying to the FBI . Its specifically points that out in section E that its against Federal Law to do so.

What scare tactic ? Here it is right on the 4473 form you have to fill out for a backround check. Question 21 section E . You are gonzo if you say yes to that question and WILL be denied firearm purchases indefinitely. Your name will go on the NICS watch list .
