I've had a ladder stand min the same place for 7-8 years , When it started to become wobbly at the top I used lag bolts and pinned the seat frame to the tree (I own the property) so if anyone wanted to steal the stand they would probably only get/take the ladder part .... which would kinda leave me hanging anyway but its an attempt at securing it ! -

I've used a tarp and on a couple of occasions an old shower curtain ... works fine ! -
Well I noticed that Field & Stream are starting to get in stock the Gamecrusher I have the rain check on so I can go pick it up today or tomorrow ! Wish me luck !

Took my son to get his license last night ... first pick was 4H ... he didn't get it but did get a preference point for next year .... second pick was 4B and he received that one ! -
I have a ladder stand at 15 ft. and wish I had another 5 too add to it !
