  1. Great buck! Maybe 3 years old? Would say low 120's for score
  2. That's a neat looking buck. Hope you get him!
  3. Nice group if deer. Good luck
  4. That's an amazing video. Nice to see the details.
  5. Great video! Cool to see the different angles. I'm pretty he hunts in New Jersey.
  6. Disagree. I can make my own AR's. Not everyone is out there to hunt trophies, and in areas where DMP's are scarce or pretty much non-existent, people may depend on that 1 1/2 year old spike, 4 point, or whatever for meat.
  7. If I found out that night or the next day, I would take some pictures and then take it back to the farm. I'm sure you're not supposed to eat them farm deer.
  8. Shot a doe on state land with rifle. It took off and fell just out of sight, prob 80 yards away. I waited about 15 minutes for my buddies to make it over to me and then we headed to the deer. By the time we got there, 1/5-1/4 of the hind quarter had been eaten. We never heard or saw any coyotes.
  9. Main goal is to get out and fill the freezer. Wouldn't mind if a big boy happened to walk by in range, but I'll settle for a freezer full of doe meat.
  10. Looks like a 1 year old. It's personal preference whether you shoot him or let him walk. Is he the only buck you have on cam? If he's not, is he the biggest? I personally would pass, but I have numerous bucks on camera to choose from. Your call bud.
  11. Great video. Nice way to start the season! Congrats!
  12. 2012 Diamond Dead Eye 72lbs 29" draw QAD HDX Ultra rest 60x strings G5 meta peep Redhead Blackout X1 pro arrows tipped with Rage 2 blades and Lumenoks
  13. After seeing yours and phades pics this year I'm gonna junk my junky WGI cams and get a couple coverts. Picture quality is much better.
  14. First pic I'm assuming? Not the best pic but I would guess 4 years old and around 120".
  15. A lot to choose from! Looks like you should see some activity the first few times you sit.
  16. Let's see, that translates to about 33 yards. Merely a chip shot for most seasoned archers, and definitely close enough for gun. Just saying. I'm gonna look into one of those cornapple trees.
  17. Love it! Reminds me of this pic from 2010...
  18. I'll be in my new set. Wind should be good, apples will still be around (hopefully), and if that trophy doe steps out before a mature buck...there might just be a Rage in flight. I love venison, and fresh tenderloin is so good!
  19. Got his guy on camera over the last couple weeks. Neat looking deer. Also got the nice 2 year old 8 point on 2 cameras. The cameras are about 500 yards apart. Hope he can make it through the season. On a side note, my other camera I was hoping to get the big guy on was knocked down in one of the storms and took 1000+ pictures of the clouds. If anyone is interested in those pictures I started a new website at www.batterywastingcloudart.com (kidding of course)
  20. I was 16 and It was 2 weeks before northern tier gun season opened and I had an itchy finger. So I decided to go squirrel hunting behind my grandfathers house. I just shot a couple squirrels with the .22 and sat down on a stump to let the woods settle down. After sitting for a few minutes I started to hear walking behind me. I sat there quietly as it got closer and closer until finally it showed. A giant 10 point standing there 5 yards away. I always carried my camera with me so I reached in my pocket and slowly brought it up. That's when he saw me and just stared. I didn't quite have the camera up to my eye when I decided I had better get a picture. So snap went the camera and off went the deer. I was pumped, biggest deer I had ever seen and I got a picture of him. I immediately took pictures of everything so I could get the film developed. 1 hour photo and I ended up with a picture of the deer from the base of his antlers down. Biggest deer I've had that close.
  21. I have mostly the climbing sticks but like the separate climbing sections a little better. I can turn 3-4 sections into 20 feet of ladder. Plus if you have a tree that isn't perfectly straight, you can maneuver the sticks so it fits the tree better.
