On my F-150 that "plug" for the spare was a lock that needed the truck key to remove it and lower the spare.

Ever had their 1/4 pounders? I really need to find a golf course willing to buy them for me.

Enjoy Pygmy. You going solo in case the high school cheer leader you tried to land back them finally gives in?

I never filet that size trout. Gutted and heads off and grilled or in the broiler. When done a fork at the lateral line will allow the meat above it and below it to be gently pushed off. Grab to tail and the entire remaining skeleton will pull up. You end up with bones that looks like an old cartoon would show it.

I've been in and worked in Buffalo Syracuse Rochester and Watertown area. First things first, HOFFMAN's suck...lol. I much prefer a Zweigles over any of them and if you are luck enough to know someone at a golf course and can get the 1/4 pound red hots they are the best of the best in my book.

Lease Insurance?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Fletch's topic in Land For Sale, Lease, and Requests
Usually the leaser will make the call if it is mandated or not and to what limits. It is actually covering them in most cases because once they lease the land for money they are no longer covered under NY's General Obligation law. Is your landowner asking for it? -

Has Your Scope Ever Made You Bleed?
Culvercreek hunt club replied to grampy's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Yup, My father's 1100 12 ga when I didn't want to carry my ratty old pump and he wasn't around to hunt. Ok Ok I snuck it out...lol. Well we never had our heads the same distance from the scope and it was evident who kept theirs farther back when I touched the trigger off on a doe. It was a 1/3 of a circle right between my eyebrows and bled like a stuck pig. I did get the deer though. What hurt way worse than that though was when I did the exact same thing a week later with that gun and got a matching cut about 1/8" away from the other. Still sore from the first and still had the scab and wow was that tender. can still see the two scars when I get sun burn on my face. I missed that deer. -

Compensating...... -
I had a wonderful day as well. 18 holes of golf with some buddies in the morning. pool and cook out at the house in the afternoon and evening. I got a new Cabela's 80 liter dehydrator, a jerky shooter (becasue my daughter likes that kind of "jerky") a bunch of different seasoning packets and new seat cover for the truck. I am convinced the seat cover was for me and the dehydrator and jerky stuff was for my daughter...lol. Great day all around. I hope the rest of the fathers here had likewise.

Loooong range shooting help.
Culvercreek hunt club replied to Gencountyzeek's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I'd shoot it through a chrono and dump all the info into a ballistic calculator. I am betting reality may be different that what some write and at those distances it is a game of fractions. I'd be curious to see what 10 to 20 FPS could do to drop at 1,000. -

if the new normal holds, her parents should be filing suit against the exhaust manufacturer becasue there wasn't a warning label on it saying not to stick your head up the tail pipe. -
Works for vehicles too. When you run out of volume to cover up a noise it's time to take it to the shop..lol
