    I just talked to my buddy today. My truck is built but is listed as missing parts. He told me its the computer chips. He has know way of knowing when they will be in. Ordered in May also. I can wait another 2 months but then will be in and bind. Glad you are getting your truck soon!

    Nice deer Fletch! Feel better. I'm still out with this nagging groin injury. Hope to feel better so I can get to my place at Bow season. What are they munching on?

    I spray a cover scent that smells like dirt on my clothes before I go out. I use Evercalm by my stand. As for deer scent I like to put out a Code Blue estrous scent late October right up to gun. If it's windy or raining I don't bother.

    Beautiful girl! Number 3 is the big one that sits with me, They are all important but those years of just the two of you. I had 4 years between my two. The older one was joined at my hip. Precious memories you would never get back. Great post and I hope you shoot a monster at gun season!

    Pretty bad around me on the Island. We had 1 Tornado reported around 11 pm. I beleive it was more of a wind shear along the shore line then went out into the sound.

    I hear ya. I only use ladder stands these days. I have a few loc ons and gorilla stands just hanging in the shed.

    So those of you guys who hunt the EHD areas how was the hunting last year? Same thing happened. Did it really have an impact on deer sightings and game harvest? Where the areas closed? I have no idea.

    Had a great time with my brother and dog. So much bait fish in water Dolphins were chasing. I caught a Sting Ray but lost him in the suds. Had a huge fish on that almost spooled the reel. Fought it for 20 minutes then hook popped. Saw a couple of sharks caught that was about it.

    My neighbor lets the snowmobile club trail access. They are great at grooming trails and keeping the trails clean. I did have metal posted signs and a ladder tree stand stolen in the dead of winter. I called the club president who listened to my concerns and said he would spread the word. So far so good. There are always some bad apples in the bunch. I do have to say they stay to the trails. I have power lines going through my property and I have never seen tracks on those lines.

    My Mom helped me a few times to butcher the deer. She was great. Hand grinder and all. We did a good job!
