    9h yesterday deer Didnt move until 830. i shot a doe at 915. There were still deer moving until 11. Dont get discouraged, good luck.

    No service Saturday. Saw 5 doe and a spike. All deer were far away. Highlight was seeing six toms together feeding for a couple hours by me.

    I have one. I like it. quiet zippers, multiple storage areas, holds my gun or bow. very comfortable.

    I would. Put some meat in the freezer early and take the pressure off. My November schedule sucks this year unfortunatley for getting out.

    ordered 3 dozen. They only could fill one dozen and emailed me at 8 am. 7pm i got out of work and couldn't believe after reading everyone's posts, they had them waiting at the in store pickup.

    hope they brought some bagels. love long Island/nyc bagels. Beats the bread doughnuts they call bagels around here.

    Try getting some fake xmas trees. many people throw them out after xmas. The fake pine branches will blend in better with pine and they will stay green through all seasons. They usually have metal that allows them to shape and move the branch itself. I would tie them in around and on the stand.

    Used to live there. Had permission to hunt 40 acre of very thick young brush. The sign was there but never saw a deer. It was 40 acres surrounded by houses so i only hunted it for bow. Theres definatley deer there but i would imagine tough to get access to hunt. Friend of mine about 10 years ago shot a 14 point slammer off Campbell.

    Thats just a cheap baikal russian over and under 12 gauge. Bought it used for $200. Great field gun that you don't mind getting dirty.

    Walked a bit in letchworth last night. Farmers were chopping corn fields. 3 different fields within a half mile and herds of 20-30 deer in each. Haven't seen herds like that in years. Awesome sight to see.

    Hunted 715 to 845 yesterday and reached my limit. Hit up a nice stand of beach trees. It was raining beach nuts. Nice morning also saw a fox and bumped a turkey off the roost.

    id make sure nock seats firmly in shaft with no wiggle also weigh your lighted nock versus regular nock. I like the lighted nocks, but not enough to miss if they don't shoot true.

    I had it in my plot last year. not sure but turkey would just lay in it all the time. im assuming they were finding insects in them.

    If he doesnt have permission to where the oaks are how would he scout? Seems cams would help him in this situation instead of trespassing.
