  1. I don't believe they do for every brand, but I think its something that should be written on the front of the box. My Vor-Tx ammo boxes dont mention that they are lead free, but do mention the bullet is an all copper design. I also think they should put it on turkey shells that a lead free.
  2. Here's my advice to you, do not use a rototiller. You want to keep the soil integrity and nor destroy the mycorrhizae (fungi) network that you have going on in the soil at this time. This fungi network greatly improves the amount of water a plant can absorb. Also I like to use the grass clipping from my lawn as a fertilizer, weed preventative and a way to help hold in moister. Put the grass clippings around each plant and an area with exposed dirt. Its free and better than anything else you can buy. Decomposing grass is what created the fertility of the great plains.
  3. Well when you practice like that, I'm sure it becomes like second nature. Personally me I like to keep everything as simple as possible. Maybe I'll try it in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Congrats on the deer and your wedding!
  5. I believe nosler makes a copper bullet, but i would suggest you try Barnes bullets.
  6. Great video! I still will never support a lead ban, but I do advocate for everyone to switch to non-lead for the enviornment and their own families.
  7. After seeing the protest the Anti's put up for bear hunting in FL, I'd hate to see what they'd do if a panther season was introduced. They might actually cry a river.
  8. Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great one.
  9. Ya those deer are defiantly much smaller in body size, but the rack sizes weren't too bad for the bigger ones that ive seen. A cabin in the everglades sounds fun with the exception of the snakes. Hopefully all goes well on the move though. Ive always wondered how the hunting was down there.
  10. Ive seen some big deer driving through Osceola County. If you ever want to fish near Tampa bay, let me know ill give you a couple good spots to go or show you them if i'm there at the time. Maybe you can harvest a gator or two while down there.
  11. Sorry to hear your leaving! I really enjoyed a lot of your posts. Where in FL will you be moving to? Maybe one day you'll get the chance to move back up here hopefully.
  12. Id rather aim dead on because its one less thing to worry about. When you have adrenaline pumping through your body, you don't think as clearly and you might end up missing because of that.
  13. Thats awesome! I wish more people would do things like that.
  14. Still a great looking mount. I was thinking about getting one done if I get a really good buck next season.
  15. Awesome! Is that a pedestal mount?
  16. Ive seen it used on hunting shows and it dropped deer every time. Defiantly a good caliber to use. I personally would be using all copper bullets because they have nearly 100 percent weight retention.
  17. Sorry I forgot to press submit so when I originally wrote the message, so I didn't see your comment.
  18. Well if they believe we have a huntable population I'm all for it. I personally would like to see the moose population be in the 1000 range before we have a season. I'm glad that when the DEC thinks there are enough they can make a season.
  19. Good thing you didn't get hurt, because ive seen some bad injury's when the string blows. I think id need a change of underwear as well as a change of strings if that happened to me haha.
