    I've tried it but i never see any deer hit the sent trail so I couldn't say how they would react to it.

    No clue what it is but i would defiantly take it back to the the DEC...you never know what you found.

    I always wear it when i'm walking to the stand but its 50/50 if i take it off or leave it on while in the stand.

    Well just got back from my first sit of the year! I saw 23 doe and one 5 point buck. Most were out of range but 3 doe came in at 12 yards which is exactly where I wanted them. I went to shoot but when I pulled back my peep had turned and I couldn't see a thing out of it. I think the d loop moved or the string re-stretched, but in all honesty I have no clue. Ill be headed to the pro shop Tuesday to hopefully see what the problem is. I've never had this happen to me so i'm flying blind.

    I currently use Field and Stream hang ons and i love them. They weight 32 pounds a piece but its worth it.

    I see nothing wrong with what you did. I wouldn't even see anything wrong if you shot it and it was perfectly healthy.

    Well when your dragging the deer you don't have to attach the tag but when it comes time to attach it I usually put it around the antler or through the ear with a ziptie. Now I don't know where i would put it with a bear since I wouldn't want to damage any of the fur...even on the ear.

    Ive seen a 25-06 do some real damage to a deer so I wouldn't be opposed to it.

    Talking to my father and looking the wrong way while a 13 pointer used the trail I was hunting over. Not a good feeling watching your first buck that you could have shot run away.

    I let them walk because i feel bad to do it but I know it doesn't do anything if you were to shoot the mom or the fawn.
