its no different then the Mafia ,Bloods and Crips ,or Columbians dividing up an area . Remember Roch in the '70s with the A team B team of the mob ? They were killing and bombing each other ( one of my friends Dad was killed). Same thing only add motorcycles and patches .

Well each area has a domanite club , if your club is going to put on the third rocker ( state, city ) you must get the blessing of the domanite club and become a support club . Your patches will now be the same color as the domanite club. Other wise it's seen as you are claiming their territory and that never ends well , never had never will. It all can be avoided by staying a one or two patch club, if you want to be a 3 patch you know what your doing and what the rules and risks are.
  3. I'll bet that an awful lot of those bucks , will be reported killed on the 16th day of the season .....
  4. Well if you're transporting illegal guns in your car I'd think you would not have any guns or accessories in plain view ,not break traffic laws and if you got stopped know that you don't have to answer questions about guns in the vehicle in NYS.If you're not going to comply and I support that wink wink then have the brains to think things through . I feel sorry for the kid but clearly he had know idea of his rights at a time he should have been overly cautious. There is no link from tags to permits in NYS and they have no right to count the rounds in your handgun in a traffic stop should you for some unknown reason tell the cop you have one. That case was already tossed out of court somewhere around Batavia if I remember correctly . Cop tried to say he could tell by the weight of the gun lol. Judge said nice try.....
  5. Just got a pic from the the farm I hunt , farmer got a hen with 8 1/2 inch beard .

Light beer , tastes kinda like water only not as flavorful !
  7. Good luck proving the fish was caught on the day posted. Or even posted by the person in the picture .... I could post any number of pictures today of guys with fish caught years ago with any caption I chose , on my page or theirs . Look at the Northern I caught last month !
  8. Hum I've used Irish Spring as my soap for idk 40 some years now, things are starting to makes sense as far as my deer hunting .......
  9. Here's where the deer was born ,right up against Joes house in his mulch ! This is the bay side of the house , nothing but homes patios and decks.
  10. From my talk with my lawyer it goes like this. The landlocked piece has a legal right to access if there is no easment he has to establish one. He needs to identify and name all adjacent land owners , he also needs to show the route of the easment based upon distance, topography and other factors . Now the landowner whose land it crosses may try to prove another route is best , but the court will rule on which piece the easement crosses based upon what is presented to him/ her. I own land my wife's family owns thousands of acres and is buying more all the time, I'm surprised when you bought your land your lawyer never pointed out that it boarded landlocked land and an easement could be forced upon you .
  11. Thanks Moog, that goes right along with what my lawyer told me . Basically yes you have a legal right to an easment to get to,your land, establishing that will be costly and the land owner whose land it crosses often will be a prick about it. Even thought they should know that if they boarder landlocked land there is a chance the easement will cross there's ...... Something they should have turned up as well when they bought theirs .
  12. I think they always find poorly shot deer on the hunting shows because they use an army of guys, dogs and a host of things they don't show. Plus the fact they only show us the ones they find.
  13. Today in Irondequoute , my friends yard along the Bay.
  14. My friend and hunting partner lives on Irondequote bay, this was born today In his yard .
  15. No problem, one phone call ! He does a lot of land deals and also hunts , sometimes I pay him in treestands.....
  16. Ok lawyer called back yes you have to be able to access your land in NYS via easement by necessity . But he would not pay one dollar for such land.... Now I got lost in all the legal talk , but he would want to see evidentiary proof of an existing easement. If you had to establish one plan on spending a ton of cash. Name all adjoining land owners sue them for the easement , you show best route based upon distance , topography and so forth . He went on for several more minutes but youget the point.
  17. Out west its common to have one square miles blocks of BLM land right in the center of private land. There the "easement by necessity " was the law , although I have ran into ranchers who thought otherwise. But having a lawyer as your hunting partner is a plus at times like that, except when they still threaten to shoot you....... I left a message with my nephew ,another lawyer here in NY to see NYS law. But I had friends with a cottage on Black Lake that was land locked , they not only had access but the other cottage who's land we crossed had to leave it open ie no fence etc.
  18. Where I hunt, 8h lots of deer around . I'll put two in the freezer and perhaps take more for friends . I can't speak of other areas.
  19. I always put mine on my daypack , it's on my back walking around and hangs on back of tree visable while on stand. I never put tags or license in the holder, not since I had it tear off years ago.....
  20. I just finished the meds. for Lyme disease . Had a tick on me 4 on the dog, he was exposed to Lyme disease last year but it has not shown yet. I know 3 people in Webster that had it and several dogs in my Neighborhood as well. If a human get a tick its automatic that you get the meds as it's so prevalent here. They can't test you for one month but start the meds right away. Not sure what you mean by "on her" but if it was biting her she needs to call her DR.
  21. I can never get one, my buddies out west pack out deer and elk on the back ten miles sometimes, they already laugh at my half mile to mile drags ! Call me a flatlander and tenderfoot . One time we were elk hunting in waist deep snow 2 miles from our tents, I said to myself any elk that may come by gets to live......
  22. Nice job ! A few nights a week I go to bed around 2:30am ....
  23. Wow great day! I'd be happier with that shed over a turkey ,but I'm not much of. A turkey hunter
  24. Bingo! That's why quality shoe makers have not just sizes and widths but make the same size and width with different lasts as well. A last is basically a form the shoe is made on, say 9 1/2 D but they use 6 different 9 1/2 d lasts. One more narrow at the heal , one wider mid point and so on . Cheap shoes and boots you just get a generic one size fits all 9 1/2 D's basically buying off the rack . http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline/AllAboutLastsView?catalogId=40000000001&langId=-1&storeId=1
