Well you tell , Bobby that’s private property and to stay off it .... Lots more bottles , I’m going back with a shovel , there’s also a half buried milk can my wife wants . We already have a few that her Dad actually used on their dairy farm , but for some reason she wants this one too . There’s a few more dumps ,I need to dig out as well . Where you really find old bottles is digging down in old outhouses ..... Mrs Nomad says there’s one somewhere in their old yard , not sure the new owners would want me digging it up though . One mans trash ,is Nomads trash !

Hit the Other Half after shed hunting . Got the 1926 lic plate, a bunch of ‘40s bottles, off a dump in the corner of one woods .

Wow, hit a different part of the farm, thicket just covered in trails, tracks never seen so many trails . The spot is surrounded by green fields,with trails to/from the fields every 40-50 yards , then it transitions to woods, then another field . Farmer said deer are in those fields daily . Zippo !!! I couldn’t believe it, walked the trails glassed the fields . I did find another old dump, grabbed the Mrs a new set of salt/ pepper shakers ,some bottles and a 1926 lic. Plate , she wants me to go back for an old milk can that I didn’t feel like carrying out .

Everyone I know who travels for pleasure has all along . Youngest daughters been to Calf, Utah and AZ, Conn. and is going to PR in a few weeks . Oldest has been to Colorado, Fla., Virginia and is currently in Boston for the weekend . Everyone we know who winters in Fla, went , and those who, moved there have been coming back to visit all along . Niece just went to her condo in SC. Friend went Elk hunting in Utah , and has been in FLA for the last few weeks , caught his first shark the other day ! A friend is visiting Hotlanta where the clubs are open ,packed and maskless .

Correct. One article I read awhile back said some calibers / weight bullets are only made every couple years as it is . Those that refuse to pay the current market rate , I get it ,but if you don’t have any or it’s a real low amount ,I’d rethink that. We’re one large mass shooting away from the current shortage looking like the golden age ,I’m afraid.

Nope . I only shoot one or two deer a year , with a coyote thrown in here and there , so I’m good for a few thousand years I guess .

I bought an Ororo brand one after a couple guys at the Letchworth hunt raved about them . I liked it enough that I bought 4 more for Christmas gifts . I don’t sit all that long anymore ,but it’s been useful a few times, great for my “ I’m cold “ daughter though .

I’m ok with that under these conditions . Along with the money, they get a knife, and drugs , and they are all placed on an island for six months . Who’s ever left alive gets to leave . Oh and put it on pay for view , that should cover the costs , and be fine evening entertainment to boot .

After 36 years of carrying , I’m mostly IWB now , never cared much for it before and was an OWB leather guy . IWB with thin kydex is far better for me to conceal even with a thin T shirt . They say, it’s a system, gun, holster and proper belt, I’ll add waistline lol . I wear 36 inch waist pants , but there’s still a little room for the gun which helps . As you can see it’s at 3:00 , this is partly due to the fact that my right shoulder limits how far my arm can reach back . I used to hate IWB now it’s no problemo , with today’s thinner guns and thinner holster . Or go like Clint Smith .... I Love him !

Thinking it over bit of a drive . Now heres a question if you don’t mind , last week I shot my 9mm SW Shield, and something happened that never has before . Maybe ten yards , modified Weaver, shooting at the center of target , but I’m hitting low and left , a nice tight group but all low and left . So I make sure I wasn’t jerking the trigger and so on but still low and left . Then I shoot single hand and hit the center consistently. Thoughts ? Thanks .

So I’ve been ordering ammo online here and there ,to fill in some low spots . The sites have always had a banner saying , high demand may take a day or two longer to ship ,that sort of thing . Well I recently ordered a 1400 round bucket of .22, now I get an email update , due to extremely high demand it may take 10 days for my order to hit their shipping dept !!! Yikes we’re moving in the wrong direction here .

No win situation, really as bad as it may seem , driving away is his best option , and hope the next guy opens up on them . If I was somehow stopped by a crowd like that, I’d take it, until someone breaks the plain of my car, starts coming inside or hitting me trough the window and so on . Even if your 100% in the right , prevail in the justice system, you’re outed and they’ll be at your house next . We had a lot of that sh!t here in Roch. and the cops hands were surely tied,they let them run wild looting , burning ,beating . We’re now on pace for double last years murders go figure who could have thought cash less bail and a demoralized , stand down police force would lead to more crime ? Now just wait for Derek Chauvins trial to end , you ain’t seen nothing yet !

When you’re at the store buying a freezer alarm, get a Sharpie and some blue painters tape as well . Now go label all your breakers and some wall switches , then label ( I write on the tape ) water shut offs etc. Working nights taught me, that my wife and kids need to know how to run the house when I’m not there . All my shut offs are labeled , the separate furnace fuse is labeled , the sump pump ,and back up water operated sump pump are labeled,there’s an alarm if it over flows as well . Written instructions for resetting the hot tub . My freezer plug is labeled and taped over to hold it in place , you may see a pattern here ..... I worked with a guy who had a separate pedestal sump pump all plumbed and ready, so if his stopped working while he was on nights a neighbor could quickly swap it out . I started canning meat last year partly because you don’t need a working freezer, next year I may can most of my meat .

Yes , and running a generator in an attached garage is known to Kill folks as well . As we said on the job, “ job security ! “ One of the troubles with his system is someone coming home and flipping ,the main back on .

Ha , I’ve been shed hunting 3 hours a day a couple times a week , whips my old a$$ . Today row 3 minutes, 25 push ups ,4 rounds, then 30 minutes on cross trainer , 10 on Jacobs ladder . But pounding the woods for a few hours hits me harder then an hour at the gym ! The arthritis in my feet kills me for a couple days after walking 3 hours . Old age isn’t for whimps . On second STRONG gin and tonic .

I drink at home mostly ,when in bars the women buy me my drinks ! We’ll finalize the details tomorrow at my Bday bunch , the kids want a Hawaiian family vacation aka I pay for it all ..... I’d like to go when it’s cold here the Mrs says we can save 2K by going in April , F that I want feb. then come home and head to FLA for a few weeks . The CPA daughter can’t take vacation in Feb. so that’s a sticking point . Some of the beach front rentals are surprisingly affordable , well that’s relative I guess .

I guess they should be bedding on every part of my spot then . I find those balloons everywhere , the woods, the thicket , but mostly hedgerows which makes since as they land in the big farm fields and the wind carries them along the ground till they get stuck in them . I did have a hot air balloon land in a field once as well .

I believe , civilians should be able to,own the same weapons as the average military ground pounder , ie the same long and hand guns , I draw the line at crew weapons . Im all for giving offenders of first offense,non violent crime , a second chance , public service, fines, restitution and so on. First offense violent crime ,would be a case by case basis, but you’ll see some jail time , second offense well you wouldn’t want to appear be for me ...
