you will have to broadcast more than you normally would using planter. If it was me i would go close to double the amount per acre. For me i have a small section i till it up with the rotto tiller, then broadcast seed then till again then drive over it 100 times with the tractor tires.

I gotta tell ya, I went to work dreaming of hanging out at the land tonight with some friends for the weekend eating a crap ton of food and alcohol by the campfire . I was counting down the time till 5pm. I talked to my wife around 2 who was home all packed, waiting to go pick up our son at school and head up early. 2:30 I get a call from her, the nurse just called and he fell in gym class and banged the side of his head/eye on a rock wall and she had to go get him right away. Took him to the doctor who was worried about a concussion and said to stay home and see how he feels in the am. He has a baseball size ball just off the corner of his eye. Dang kids!!

Man i did that at a farm from around age 12 to 16ish. Boy was i in shape, sadly i enjoyed it, i would blow hay boogers for days. I got to drive trucks around the fields picking up loose bales. Good memories for me. I'm sure ill have my son do the same thing in about 6 yrs.

I did get it up there, its my smallest mount but its everything else that make it worth doing. Did u run into any birds?
