where the heck are you getting 200-300 a month? I have a middle tier directv subscription with 3 remote boxes and dvr and I'm at 130.

the autococker has been around for a while. My point is that you marry the self loading and autococker and you have a brand new weapon. Shouldn't be hard for any of us to imagine that it will happen.
-
it is about what's possible, but it seems we wont agree on that. You're also forgeting the time it would take you to draw and aim your compound vs just pulling the trigger on the xbow. and you're right, with a good first shot that's all one should need. should. lol.
-
why toss it? $5 says it was a goth thinking they were going to do some cool ritual stuff lol.
-
it's quick though, and soon enough it'll be battery powered. again, that's the point. Not the prototype, but the possibilities.
-
except without any vetting that what you're learning is legit.

Hunter Bill is a sucker for believing that sh!t works.

lets be honest, the government isn't making them do shit, the government enjoys tax revenue. This was their idea. I'm honestly annoyed that both my kids baseball and football youth leagues are sponsored by these assholes. Their coupon went right into the trash. -
Doc did his best to point out what the real issue is, and it's not the unit in the video. It's the progression of tech. In a short period of time we went from these bulky clunky crossbows to these slimed down tack drivers like the raven. What has and was supposed to be a "traditional" season now has these new battery powered autococking weapons that are really pushing the boundary of what was meant to be a season reserved for those wanting an extra challenge and a different type of woods. The video just sheds a light on whats to come. eh not really, not to mention the movement associated with nocking another. Ask almost any bow hunter how they know haha.

cool video. Did you not have a shot at the first opening? Man that shot was close!

saw some very similar activity in 8F this past week. Where they go when the guns go off still confuses me haha.
-
what mass too. very cool.

idk man I've outright missed on some deer to have them only jump a few yards startled. I know it's rare, but the quietness of a bow has some advantages over the loud report of a firearm too.

a fish has the same ability and feelings as a human child. Give me a freaking break. Comparing a fish to a human. Comparing any animal to human. Science has actually yet to determine if fish feel any pain at all. It's still up for debate with several papers that contradict themselves.

a trained hunter could cock another bolt just as fast he could chamber another round in a bolt action rifle.
-
how is it any different from getting multiple gun shots at a deer?
-
is that a serious post?
-
seems like this is the same as my mathews compound. seems like it certainly belongs in the same season. oh wait... tech wasn't advancing on crossbows either right? that was always an unfounded fear.
-
the smaller mounts are a great learning tool as well. I have suffered from ground shrinkage a few times. It's hard for a newer hunter to grasp size by just looking at caps, especially as buck fever sets in. congrats to all

If you're used to dog hunting, it probably doesn't seem odd at all, but as someone who doesn't hunt with dogs and didn't grow up in that culture I can understand why activist groups don't like it. Seeing that bear up there shaking doesn't exactly make me feel great. I'm not against it mind you, just stating that i can "understand".
-
thanks for sharing @3:55 "it's almost impossible to get them without dogs or bait" see other thread about trying to hunt bears in ny lol.

can we vote to put all random song posts into this single thread? *cough*

yeah man that's where I'm at even today. I want to get back in the grove and back to the gym but already at noon today I know that's not happening. At least the weather is sh!t...
