Take a look at this Camo. Thoughts??

Just another one that turns into a blob at 20+ yds failing to breakup outline. -
Limbs are built for them by Dryad - a great traditional and innovative bow builder. They - Elite - are doing the riser. Nothing special. At $1299 MSR for the package, they are way on the hi side for what it is.

NY is #1 Worst State to Hunt Whitetails

How about we start with define the small bucks you are talking about. -
Just sharing info DOC. I know a couple underwriters and several agent/owners is all. All said it's not even a minor concern to their agencies and companies. One is also a beef farmer and would like all deer dead to "save" his feed crops. Have no reason to believe someone wanting all deer dead would not use his agency to help instead of telling me the industry doesn't care. He wishes they did! Maybe he and all the others all lied to me? But you are certainly welcome to interpret what the DEC says any way you wish and put your faith in them - I know you are a fan. ;^)

Have to ask them. Insurance companies aren't concerned about anything that doesn't effect bottom line significantly. And deer claims do not do that.
-
Deer collision claims are a tiny fraction of their payouts - not enough for them to worry about or spend money on to reduce. In areas of higher claims, they simply raise the comp rates to adjust for the difference. They lose no more money in high collision areas then they do in low ones.

Personally if I don't recover when edible I consider it a failed harvest. Would have no interest in a rack that reminded me I didn't get the job done. After 3 weeks, I would never think I had any claim on it at all.

You get dizzy up on that perch?

You are so special. The rest of us are just lazy, bad and unskilled.

Never take a 2nd date from early Dec until after Valentine's Day. Cheaper and far less potential drama.
-
One in Willet shot yesterday in the news - survived. Didn't really look at details other than 1st report was they didn't know each other.
-
Why havent they tested it? Simple question.
-
And then you have someone who has used ozone for 100's of hours for odor elimination and understands the science of it. I ask again - why havent they tested it? Or maybe they have and that is why they are following Scentlocs model of paid endorsement.
-
Scentloc all over again - worked until it didn't. Simple question - why have they not had independent scientific testing done that proves it works? Cheaper and would be far more effective than anecdotal observations from paid endorsers or those wanting to justify the money they have spent. Fact is you cannot not see your scent stream so you have no idea if deer you think are downwind are in it. Anyone who has hunted and pays attention to the wind have had encounters where they felt deer should have winded them - and without a magic box.
-
Anyone scanning people with a scoped gun gets thrown off our properties - no excuses.
-
I know 2 local processors that cut, grind and wrap each deer separately. Really not that hard to do.

Ozone needs time and volume to be effective - and then it works great. Neither is available with a low output machine(ozonics) in an open uncontrolled environment like over your head in a treestand. Will be somewhat effective in a blind. They are selling based on anecdotal observations and paid endorsements - same way ScentLoc did when 1st marketed. Ozonics (and Scentloc) could have their product tested scientifically for effectiveness for a fraction of the cost of the paid endorsements. Positive results would send sales thru the roof and remove all doubt. Neither do/did and it is for one reason only.

Bore butter is at best a moisture retardant - not a moisture barrier. It also is not an oil but more of a waxy lube that has a tendency to build up. Only possible use is as a patch lube for shooting round balls. Modern mz's have modern steel barrels - just like your other firearms. They are not cast iron frying pans that can or should be seasoned.
-
If you are using bore butter - stop. You can strip it back to metal using brake cleaner and a copper brush followed by patches till clean. Then use a thin coating of a quality gun oil or something like Barricade Sheath. Be careful with the brake cleaner - don't let it anywhere but in the barrel. Gunscrubber works good too and is not as strong.

You are the neighbor I don't want - the one who thinks my property should be his. And if he doesn't like me because our views are different, is willing to break the law, trespass to deface (spread scent) - cowardly actions of an entitled punk.
-
You mean trespass on a neighbor. Nice.

There is no "mythical void" except in myths. If he went that far with bright red blood, most likely a muscle hit aka thru the back straps. Most will survive this hit.

Maybe they were all there getting their fiance a new chair for her blind?
-
You would support the DEC or any authority having the power to force landowners to allow people on their land to hunt????????? Do you have any idea of the cost to trap, transfer and release deer - let alone the stress involved to the animal? Thinking outside the box is one thing. A 60's trip on the purple tabs is another.

So you opinion is shooting a 1.5 6pt is ok? At what age are they "big" enough? Everyone who says we should shoot will ever define big or old enough - why?
