  1. You're not crazy we all seem to have tons of cams!!! I have 4 of the same brand, cabelas, which operate very well. And their customer service the best
  2. Yes in temps like this I hang in the timber in between a creek and food source... historically deer have literally laid down just a few yards from my stand waiting for their buddies to get on their feet to eat/drink...
  3. bought a dripper for the first time this year, hoping it works to some degree to pattern the bucks.... historically I dress up scrapes with my own pee, as well as tinks, buck bomb..
  4. again, tough/weird angle to determine if he's 2 or 3.... but nice deer... 130" 8 pointer? he's an immediate shooter where I hunt
  5. Rut reports say Nov 4-10 will be peak rut.... I took off Nov 3, 8, 10... and might have to call into work a couple more days too!!! good luck everyone
  6. Come late Oct/ early Nov they may change their visiting hours and be a little more independent... and likely run right across your driveway around lunch time so be ready!!!! Best of luck keep us all posted
  7. cool pics.. nice yote... thanks for sharing
  8. I know a lot of guys that do absolutely nothing and just play the wind... but I personally wash all my clothes in UV free/scent free detergent and spray with UV killer and keep them in a tote. I have a tree in my yard that gives off some strong scent, idk what kind, after hunts my clothes hang there before putting them back on.... During gun season I get very, very lazy
  9. looks like some velvet on the left still and little to none on the right... he's a big boy with that belly.. I would agree at 130" of antler.. good luck keep us posted
  10. Lol I've never seen anything like that before. I've put some young trees/pines around ladders before to help stay hidden while climbing but nothing like this. Good luck
  11. Pretty cool spot i think it would depend on whether or not your getting daytime or nighttime pics.. And by gun season the bucks may or may not be in lockdown so you might have to change strategies on the fly.. Good luck.
  12. He certainly knows where to hide... Ripe for the pickin if you ask me.. Best of luck
  13. really nice buck thanks for sharing... good luck hope to see him in the harvest thread soon
  14. wow really cool pics.. and really nice deer for 2 year olds they'll taste real good!!
  15. let er go... I pee in scrapes to make them more active
  16. I'm shooting the CP sniper 370 xbow now, got the all black which looks awesome.. shooting CE Piledrivers out of it which I can tell pack a big punch. They start to drop after about 35-40 yds because of the weight.. but I had it sighted in out to 40 yds so far after only about 10-12 shots,. I recommend using Loctite on it to keep all the screw threads nice and sturdy
  17. I'm an amateur at coyote hunting but my guess is, from experience, they went silent and circled around to try and wind you. You should try going silent too taking long pauses with your gun ready. Good luck
  18. Awesome deer. Congrats again
  19. Very cool looking mounts... Did they get scored yet? Please post what they each end up scoring
  20. My beagle mix would be as far away from that water as possible. He prefers to wun wabbits
  21. Very cool. I like last one with the distressed look
  22. It was peak rut bow and I had the dominant buck from our block a couple hundred yards away chasing all the other bucks around a small pond. I crawled about 200 yds with wind in face grunting through tall grass with bow in hand. Well I got less than 10 yds with the buck snort wheezing at me when I realized it was probably a bad idea. He was pretty upset. I drew back but he jumped away a few yds. He had a doe bedded between he and I so I didn't shoot. Anyway, my friend got him a couple weeks later, and I'm getting a crossbow
  23. Very cool.. Gets you excited seeing pics like that. All those deer will be nice next year
  24. Those look like 2 year old deer to me. Brothers? Maybe.. Always cool to see "survivors" nice and healthy. Both should be nice bucks next year
